ト折損時のシヨツクによつて溝が傷付くことがあ
ると共に横方向の外力で隣の溝が変形して狭くな
つたりして高価な針筒の修理や取替をしなければ
ならず、さらに、バツト折損部に溝より突出した
尖がつた折片が残るとこれに接触した機械部品が
傷付く等の欠点があり、補修のため編機が停止す
るため生産効率の低下と補修費の上昇につながる

13による摩滅跡が一点に集中することなく、針
幹1の移動距離が不正確となるような段が付かな
いので、針の動きもより正確となる。しかし、限
度以上の外力がバツト2に作用した時には、対の
切り込み5からバツト2が容易切断すると共に折
れ口が溝12内にあるようになり、従来例のよう
に溝12の内面が傷付いたり、隣の溝の隙間が変
形するようなことはない。
