Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify sterilization work by separating a guide instrument into a fixed portion and a guide portion and disposing a sterilizing cover therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A fixed portion 22 is fitted to a thickness detector 10 by a fixing screw 22a and a sterilizing rubber boot 26 is mounted in such a manner as to wrap both the fixed portion 22 and the thickness detector 10. An engaging groove 24 of a guide chip 24 is engaged with an engaging projection 22b of the fixed portion 22 through the sterilization rubber boot 26, whereby a guide instrument is installed on the thickness detector 10. While a tomographic image is observed, a piercing needle 16 is stuck into a tested body through a guide hole 24b of the guide chip 24, so that the piercing needle 18 is correctly stuck toward an aimed portion of the tested body. Accordingly, sterilization conducted on every operation is reduced to the guide portion only so as to remarkably lessen sterilization work.
