Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a rear viewer to be restored, even when it comes into contact with an obstacle, by rotatably pivotally supporting a shaft bar, fixing the mirror, to a cylindrical shaft stopper part and holding the mirror in a normal position by respectively mounted magnets, in case of the rear viewer for an automobile and a motorcycle or the like. CONSTITUTION:A shaft bar 3, adjustably holding a mirror 1 through a connecting part 2, has a groove in the peripheral direction vertically in two parts, here fitting a metal ring 8 acting as a bearing, and the shaft bar is rotatably held in a cylindrical shaft stopper part 4 mounted to a car body by a stopper part 5. These shaft bar 3 and shaft stopper part 4 consist of non- magnetic alloy or synthetic resin material, fixedly providing permanent magnets (or electromagnets) 6, 7 opposed respectively, and the mirror 1 is left as urged always in a normal direction by mutual magnetic force. Accordingly, the mirror 1, even when it comes into contact with an obstacle or the like changing the position, is automatically restored by the magnets 6, 7.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] A. The rearview mirrors of various types of cars and motorcycles that have been used in the past are mostly adjusted manually when they come into contact with objects, but they can also be adjusted remotely from the driver's seat. There are two types that can be adjusted by the force of the spring and one that can be adjusted by the force of the spring, but the disadvantages of both are that they are often fixed types and have high production costs. The spring type in particular can only make a single small angle shift and can be set back. The object of the present invention is to eliminate such partial defects and to smoothly displace the mirror and quickly restore it to its original state. 3) Joint part (Fig. 11) with shaft stop (Fig. 4)
(Figures 6 and 7) This method and specifications vary depending on the size, type, and weight of the device, such as the strength and weakness of the magnets and the number of locations. Alternatively, it is possible to increase or decrease the magnetic strength with a power outage switch.D.The material of this part is limited to alloys other than iron, plastics, or other materials that do not cause magnetic effects.E.Both the outer surface of the shaft rod (Fig. 10) Install the magnet NS inside the coaxial stop (Fig. 12).In this case, the smaller the diameter of the shaft rod and the inner diameter of the shaft stop, the more effective it will be for the dislocation of 180 degrees. The inside of the joint of the incorporated axle shaft stop (Fig. 11) is light and easy to displace, and the frictional resistance within the same part is reduced so that it can be easily returned to its original position. Eliminate play within the part against vibrations during driving. Therefore, in order to satisfy the contradictory conditions mentioned above, bearings are installed in the two places above and below the installed magnet. In Figures 8, 9, and 10, a metal similar to a bearing is used. There is no need to make adjustments, but if adjustments are needed, they must be done manually at the joint between the mirror and the shaft rod (Figure 2).

[Claims] A. This invention is a device that automatically returns to its original position by the action of a magnet when a rearview mirror used in an automobile, motorcycle, or other vehicle touches an obstacle and displaces. B. This design takes into account the safety of the human body and the retention of the mirror by easily displacing it.C.The two poles of the magnet are installed at the joint position of the shaft rod and the shaft stop.D.It allows for easy dislocation without affecting vibration during driving. Bearings or similar metal parts that meet the contradictory conditions of reinstatement
is attached together with a magnet.
