定の加工を行う板材の加工装置において、前記ク
ランプ機構によるクランプ位置に板材を搬入する
板材搬入機構と、前記クランプ機構と一体に設け
られ、あるいは前記クランプ機構の近傍に別体で
設けられて、前記搬入機構による前記板材の前記
クランプ機構への送り込み量を規制する少なくと
も2個の第1の規制部材と、該第1の規制部材の
うちの少なくとも2個に設けられて、該第1の規
制部材に板材が接触したことを検知する第1の検
知手段と、前記板材の前記搬入機構による前記ク
ランプ機構への搬入時に該板材の前記第1の規制
部材による搬入規制方向と直交する方向の移動を
規制する第2の規制部材と、該第2の規制部材に
前記板材が接触したことを検知する第2の検知手
段とを具備し、前記板材が前記第1及び第2の規
制部材に接触したことを前記第1及び第2の検知
手段により検知して前記クランプ機構により前記
板材を把持するようにしたことを特徴とする板材
