Abstract

PURPOSE:To simultaneously write signals in plural recording tracks by providing plural and independent magnetic gaps to a 1st leg part of a magnetic head having a groove provided between the 1st leg part and a 2nd leg part, along a radial direction of a magnetic disk. CONSTITUTION:Each of the upper and lower magnetic heads 2 and 3 is provided with the 1st leg part imbedded with plural magnetic core heads 7 and the 2nd leg part 12 having a wide width for stabilizing a wobble of the disk 1 and moreover the groove part 11 between these two leg parts 7 and 12. The magnetic cores 7a and 7b have their respective coil windows 13a and 13b, where coils 14a and 14b are wound. Then, the 1st magnetic gap 15 is formed in the middle part of the 1st magnetic core 7b, and the 2nd magnetic gap 16 is composed in the middle part of the 2nd magnetic core 7a. Thus, since plural and independent magnetic gaps 15 and 16 are provided along the radial direction of the disk 1, when the disk 1 is traveled, plural tracks are recorded at the same time with their respective information.

ッド7が埋め込まれている。また、磁気ヘッド2.3は
上下のスライダ板4.5に取り付けられているが、この
上スライダ板4は支持ばね8に取り付けられている。こ
れによって上側の磁気ヘッド2がディスクlに接する方
向に押圧される。この押圧力は支持vi.9を介して押
付力調整ねじ10により調整できるようになっている。
