すべき紙葉類を積載収容する給紙カセツトを備え
た給紙装置において、前記給紙カセツト内に紙葉
類給送方向と略直角方向に移動可能に設けられ、
収容紙葉類の少なくとも一方の側端面に弾性部材
を介して当接し該側端面の位置を規制する側端位
置規制部材と、一方の端部を前記側端位置規制部
材に結合させ他方の端部を前記給紙カセツト外部
に突出させた連結部材と、前記給紙部に前記連結
部材の突出端部と係合可能に敷設され、前記給紙
カセツトの挿脱動作に応じて前記連結部材を所定
の経路に沿つて案内することにより前記側端位置
規制部材を収容紙葉類側端面から離間した第１位
置と収容紙葉類の側端面を圧接する第２位置との
間を自在に移動させる案内部材とを有することを
