(従来の技術) 一般に褥瘡防止マツトは患者が接触する部分を
可変にするために二室以上の空気室を連接してマ
ツトを形成し、これらの空気室に交互に空気を供
給させている。このような動作を行わせる手段と
して空気ポンプと空気室との間に流路交換装置を
設け、この切換装置により空気室への給気のサイ
クルを定めている。上記流路切換装置として通常
電磁弁が用いられている(特開昭55−5604号な
ど)。また電磁弁の他に第4図a,bに断面図及
びA−A矢視図で示すように平たい円筒の側壁に
空気導入口1、円筒底壁に複数の空気導出口2,
3、内部に半円板状の弁4、円筒上壁に該円板状
の弁を回転させるためのモータ5の回転軸6を貫
通させる軸穴7を設け、該軸穴に回転軸を挿入し
て該軸先端に取着した半円板状の弁により空気導
出口を開閉する外部駆動型の空気流路切換装置も
提案されている。(実公昭56−46739号など) (考案が解決しようとする問題点) しかしながら電磁弁は流路の切換時に弁が弁座
と当接するとき金属音が発生するが、この音は長
期寝たきりの患者にとつては耳ざわりで苦痛を感
じるものである。また電磁弁は高価であること、
及びかさ高いことなどから安価で、かつコンパク
トな褥瘡防止マツトにとつて実用性の点で問題で
あつた。また後者の外部駆動型の流路切換装置は
半円板状の弁が空気導出口2,3にひつかかるこ
となく滑らかに回転し、かつ該導出口を着実に覆
つて流路を閉鎖させるために、導出口の縁になめ
らかな突出体8を設けること、および円板状の弁
4をうまく導出口に密着させるために同弁の高度
の工作精度が必要であり、またモータの駆動軸6
を貫通させるための軸穴7は空気が漏れることの
ないようにシール材9を設ける必要があるなど、
構造が複雑でコスト高になるという問題があつ
た。また、円筒の底壁に複数の導出口を設けるた
めにはどうしても底面が大きくなりかさ高にな
る。さらにシール材9は摩耗しやすく、軸穴7か
らの空気の漏れる長期にわたつて完全に防ぐこと
には不安があるなどの問題があつた。

空気室を交互に膨張、収縮させるよう構成した褥
瘡防止マツトである。

止マツトである。
