Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive the centering of high accuracy and the thinning and the compactness of the device by providing three pieces or more of steel balls which are guided so as to be movable toward the center part of a disk and engaged to the inside peripheral surface of the disk, and an energizing member having an elastic member. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of a turntable 13 for placing a disk 14, three pieces or more of steel balls 16 which are guided so as to be movable toward the center part of the disk and engaged to the inside peripheral surface of the disk, and an energizing member 17 which has an elastic member 17a, placed so as to be turnable in the periphery of the center of a spindle 12 and energizes the steel ball 16 in the outside direction. As a result, at the time of installing the disk 14, plural steel balls 16 are pressed against the inside peripheral surface of the disk and move in the center direction, and the energizing member which abuts on the steel ball 16 and energized to the outside direction is pushed by the steel ball 16 and brought to rotational displacement centering around the spindle 12, and plural steel balls 16 move equally to the center part and can execute centering. A member for moving in the vertical direction is not required. In such a way, the centering of high accuracy, and the thinning and the compactness of the device can be contrived.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In recent years, disc information recording media such as compact discs in the audio field have experienced rapid growth because they are easy to handle and can be accessed quickly. In order to accurately reproduce information recorded at high density, a highly accurate disk positioning device has become required (for example, US Pat. No. 4,340,955).

FIG. 5 shows a sectional view of a conventional disk loading device. In FIG. 5, 1 is a motor for rotating the disk 4, 2 is a spindle directly connected to the motor 1, and 3 is a turntable on which the disk 4 is placed.
It is press-fitted and fixed to the spindle 2. Reference numeral 5 denotes a centering ring for centering the disk 4, which is provided on the spindle 2 so as to be movable in its axial direction. A biasing spring 6 elastically biases the centering ring 5 outward. 7
is a stopper piece that is press-fitted into the spindle 2 and regulates the position of the centering ring 5.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the conventional configuration as described above, when the entire centering ring 5 moves up and down, a suppressing force of the disk 4 is applied to one end of the centering ring 5 due to the deviation of the disk 4. In this case, there was a problem in that a sliding phenomenon occurred between the centering ring 5 and the spindle 2, and the movement of the centering ring 5 deteriorated. For this reason, it was necessary to significantly improve the dimensional accuracy of the sliding portion of the centering ring 5 through highly accurate polishing or the like. Furthermore, since a stroke for the centering ring to move up and down and a space to accommodate the biasing spring 6 are required, the overall thickness of the disc mounting device increases, making it difficult to make it thinner and more compact. There was a problem.

Function: With the above-described structure, the plurality of steel balls that engage with the inner circumferential surface of the disk are pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the disk and move toward the center when the disk is mounted. In addition, the biasing member that was in contact with the steel balls and was biased outward is pushed by the steel balls and rotates around the spindle center and is displaced, so the multiple steel balls evenly move to the center and the disc Centering can be performed. Further, since the steel ball moves toward the center and the biasing member rotates within the same plane, there is no need for a member that moves up and down.

15 is a convex part of the turntable, which is also connected to the spindle 1.
2 is press-fitted. Reference numeral 15a denotes a slope portion that guides the inner peripheral surface of the disk when the disk is mounted, and the outermost diameter of this slope portion is smaller than the inner diameter of the disk. A steel ball 16 engages with the disk 14 and moves along a steel ball guide portion 13b on the turntable 13 approximately toward the center.

Reference numeral 17 denotes a biasing member, which is rotatably provided around the center portion 13a of the turntable. In addition, the biasing member 1
7 is integrally configured with an elastic member 17a, and the biasing member 1
7 is rotated counterclockwise and comes into contact with the steel ball 16 to urge the steel ball 16 outward. The steel balls 18 urged outward are prevented from flying out by a stopper 13c provided at the end of the steel ball guide portion 13b on the turntable 13.

When the disc 14 is mounted on the turntable 13, the inner circumference of the center hole of the disc 14 is connected to the turntable convex part 15.
The steel ball 16 is engaged with the steel ball 16 while being guided along the slope 15a provided on the surface. The steel ball 16 is biased to a position with a slightly larger diameter than the inner circumference of the disk 14. When the inner periphery of the center hole of the disk 14 contacts at least one of the plurality of steel balls and moves the steel ball toward the center along the guide portion 13b, the elastic member 17a causes the steel ball to move counterclockwise. The biasing member 17, which had been biased in the same direction, rotates clockwise.

When one biasing member 17 rotates clockwise, the other biasing members 17 also rotate in the same direction, and the outward biasing force on the other steel balls is also released and the steel balls have the same shape and are equally spaced. Due to the relationship between the disposed biasing member 17 and the steel ball guide portion 13b, the steel balls are evenly moved toward the center. That is, the disk 14 is centered by the steel ball 16 displaced equidistantly from the center of the spindle 12.

As described in "Advantages of the Invention", the present invention includes a turn group on which a disc is placed, at least three steel balls that are movably guided toward the center of the disc and engage with the inner circumferential surface of the disc, and an elastic By providing a biasing member that biases the steel balls outward, the steel balls move within the same plane on the turntable to center the disc. I made it possible to do this. Therefore, the centering piece and the spindle do not become strained when the centering piece moves up and down, and the disk can be centered stably and with high accuracy using a simple component configuration. Further, according to the present invention, since there is no member that moves in the longitudinal direction of the spindle, the disk mounting device can be made thinner and more compact, and has great practical effects.
