Claims (1)
ルブ本体と;回転軸と共に回転可能に上記ボール
収容部に収容され、この回転軸に対して垂直方向
に延在した流通孔が上記流体通路に対向可能な位
置に穿孔されているボールと;上記流体通路の周
囲を取囲むように上記バルブ本体と上記ボールと
の間に介在されたシートパツキンとを具備するボ
ールバルブにおいて、上記ボールには上記流通孔
の穿孔された第1曲面領域とこの第1曲面領域に
連接した第2曲面領域とが夫々上記ボールの回転
によつて上記シートパツキンに対向する位置に形
成され、上記第1曲面領域は上記回転軸を中心と
した半径Rの曲面であり、上記第2曲面領域は上
記回転軸から所定量だけ偏心した位置を中心とし
た半径rの曲面であり、上記半径Rとrは上記第
1曲面領域が上記シートパツキンを実質的に圧縮
せず上記第2曲面領域が上記シートパツキンを圧
縮するように選定されていることを特徴とするボ
ールバルブ。 2 上記第1及び第2曲面領域は互いに約90゜
ずれており、上記半径Rとrと所定量aとは条件
(R−a)<r≦Rを充足し、上記偏心量aは約
0.05〜2.5mmであることを特徴とする請求
項1記載のボールバルブ。 3 ボール収容部と複数の流体通路とを有するバ
ルブ本体と;回転軸と共に回転可能に上記ボール
収容部に収容され、この回転軸に対して垂直方向
に延在した流通孔が上記流体通路に対向可能な位
置に穿孔されているボールと;上記流体通路の周
囲を取囲むように上記バルブ本体と上記ボールと
の間に介在されたシートパツキンとを具備するボ
ールバルブにおいて、上記ボールには上記流通孔
の穿孔された第1曲面領域とこの第1曲面領域に
連接した第2曲面領域とが夫々上記ボールの回転
によつて上記シートパツキンに対向する位置に形
成され、上記第1曲面領域は上記回転軸を中心と
した半径Rの曲面であり、上記第2曲面領域は楕
円形状であり、上記第1曲面領域と上記第2曲面
領域とは、前者が上記シートパツキンを実質的に
圧縮せず後者が上記シートパツキンを圧縮するよ
うに選定されていることを特徴とするボールバル
ブ。 4 上記第1及び第2曲面領域は互いに約90゜
ずれていることを特徴とする請求項3記載のボー
