- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 車体上部に位置するルーフパネルの両側部にイ
ンナパネルとアウタパネルを有するルーフサイド
レールの縁部が固着され、該アウタパネルが外部
に露出していると共に、ルーフサイドレールのア
ウタパネルとルーフパネルとの境界部にルーフモ
ールが装着され、該ルーフモールは、ルーフパネ
ルの側縁部に形成された立上りフランジ部に係合
している自動車のルーフキヤリア取付装置におい
て、 車体上部に着脱自在に装着されるルーフキヤリ
アの端部にセツトレバーが回動可能に枢着され、
該セツトレバーは、操作ハンドル部と、前記ルー
フパネルの立上りフランジ部に、車体の中心側か
ら近付いて係合するフツク部とを有し、該フツク
部が係合する立上りフランジ部領域の前記ルーフ
モール部分には、フツク部との干渉を避けるため
、車体の中心側を向いて開口した切欠が形成され
、前記フツク部が立上りフランジ部に係合したと
き、セツトレバーをその位置に固定するロツク手
段を設けたことを特徴とするルーフキヤリア取付
装置。
