された電極ホルダーと、給水孔の途中に設けた弁
室と、後端を給水孔下流側開口端から弁室に向け

プと、上記弁室内に挿入される弁体と、後端が弁
体と一体化され、先端が上記中空パイプを貫通す
る弁棒と、中空パイプの外周に配置され、後端が
アダプタを介して電極ホルダーの先端に固定され
た中空状のシヤンクと、中空パイプの外周にシヤ
ンクを配置することにより、中空パイプの内外に
形成される、上記給水孔及び排水孔と連通する冷
却水通路と、シヤンクの先端に嵌合固定した、上
記弁棒と当接する電極チツプとによつて構成し、
上記中空パイプの内径を給水孔より小径に設定す
ることにより、給水孔内に挿入される中空パイプ
の後端面によつて弁室と給水孔下流側との連接部
に、弁体の弁座となる段部を形成すると共に、弁
体の外径を、給水孔よりは小径で、かつ、中空パ
イプの内径よりは大径となるように設定したこと
