Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the title device small in size and light in weight by impressing a prescribed voltage higher than that supplied from a battery to a motor by means of a switching means from a stationary recording/reproducing device when the portable recording/reproducing device is connected to a stationary recording/reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:A connecting part 14 is connected to a connecting part 34, a small camera integrated type VTR 1 is mechanically and electrically connected to a recording/reproducing circuit 30, a contact point 12a of a switch 11 is turned on by the instruction of a power source switching means 13, and the switch 11 is connected to a power source 29. On the other hand, since a contact point 27a of a reproduction change-over switch 26 is turned on by the command of a reproduction switching means 28, a recording/reproducing part 30 is connected to an amplifier part 4. A magnetic tape 7 wound around a rotary head 5 runs, a reproduced signal is processed by the recording/reproducing part 30, and sent to a television 31. At such a time, since the voltage of the capstan motor 8 is set at the sufficiently high voltage, the sufficient high speed can be realized in a fast forward mode and a quick reproducing mode. Thus, the device can be made small in size and light in weight, and excellent operability is attained.

Since such a camera-integrated VTR is often used for a considerable length of time while being carried, it is necessary to make it smaller and lighter. One method for this purpose is to use a camera-integrated VTR that uses a smaller cassette tape that is compatible with the cassette tape conventionally used in stationary VTRs.

On the other hand, as mentioned above, the cassette can be made smaller and the camera can be integrated into V.
In addition to making the TR smaller and lighter, it also features a camera-integrated VT.
Progress has also been made to make each component of R smaller and lighter. In particular, motors in the mechanical parts of VTRs account for a large proportion of the weight and volume, and are being significantly downsized. As a result, the efficiency of the motor deteriorates, and a large output cannot be produced under a limited voltage, and the rotation speed of the motor must be set low to accommodate the generated load. On the other hand, there is also a trend to lower the voltage used by devices in order to save power. For this reason, the voltage applied to the motor has to be lowered, causing a limit to the motor output.

When using an adapter, there is no need to connect the signal line to the TV; however, it is necessary to first remove the small cassette from the camera-integrated VTR, attach it to the adapter, and then insert it into a conventional stationary VTR. There were problems in that it was complicated and the adapter was expensive.

In addition, even though a cassette is smaller than a standard cassette, the size of the cassette is considerably larger due to the need to attach it to an adapter and the need to attach it to a stationary VTR and reproduce the signal using the stationary VTR's magnetic head. It was difficult to miniaturize the camera, and there were limits to miniaturization of the camera-integrated VTR.

According to the present invention, with the above-described configuration, when the recording/reproducing apparatus is connected to a stationary recording/reproducing apparatus, the switching means causes the motor to receive a predetermined voltage higher than the voltage supplied from the battery from the stationary recording/reproducing apparatus. Even if the motor used in the recording/reproducing apparatus is significantly reduced in size and weight, by connecting it to a stationary recording/reproducing apparatus, it is possible to achieve a practically sufficient speed in a tape fast-forward mode.

Effects of the Invention With the above configuration, when the portable recording and reproducing device is connected to the stationary recording and reproducing device, the switching means switches the predetermined voltage higher than the voltage supplied from the battery to the motor to the stationary recording and reproducing device. Even if the motor that receives the power from the playback device and is used in the recording and playback device is significantly smaller and lighter,
By connecting it to a stationary recording/playback device, it is possible to achieve a tape fast-forwarding mode during actual playback operations at a speed sufficient for practical use, and it is possible to achieve a reduction in size and weight without sacrificing operability.

In addition, since you only need to connect the portable recording and reproducing device directly to the stationary recording and reproducing device, there is no need to connect signal lines.
Furthermore, since there is no need for an adapter, it becomes possible to handle the cassette as if it were attached to a stationary recording/reproducing device, greatly improving usability.

Furthermore, when detecting the end of a tape in a portable recording/playback device, the recording time of a small cassette used in a portable recording/playback device is shorter than that of a standard cassette, and multiple small cassettes are recorded together into one standard cassette. This is very convenient, but in this case as well, all you have to do is replace the small cassette when the compact camera-integrated VTR 1 goes into stop mode, and there will be no break in the recorded signal, making it easy to continue dubbing. .
