PRIOR TECHNOLOGY Devices in floating roof tanks that store gas-generating liquids and devices that need to be attached and detached in tanks for maintenance, inspection, or replacement due to failure have been designed to be attached to side nozzles as much as possible. There is. However, there are devices that must be installed in places other than the side nozzle, and when installing or removing such devices, workers must drain all the liquid in the tank, clean the tank, and make sure there is no gas left in the tank. He went inside and worked.

Problems that the invention aims to solve By the way, there was a problem that draining all the liquid and cleaning the tank required a long time and a large amount of money, making it uneconomical. On the other hand, when working with gas or liquid present in the tank, the following methods can be considered. For example, when the device to be attached and detached is a sludge spreading device nozzle, a cylindrical roof manhole 2 that penetrates the floating roof 1 is fixed to the floating roof 1 as shown in FIG. It is closed with a blind flange 3, and when working, lower the liquid level in the tank to a level lower than the nozzle 4, remove the blind flange 3, and use a special long-handled box spanner from above the floating roof 1. The nozzle 4 is removed by removing the bolts of the flange 5, and the eye bolts 6 fixed to the flange 5 are removed.
This method involves hooking a wire, etc. to the roof and lifting it onto the floating roof. However, this method has the problem that it is extremely difficult to install the nozzle from above the floating roof to its original position in the tank.

Means for Solving the Problems The present invention provides a floating roof type tank having a removable device inside, in which a removable cylindrical body is inserted into a cylindrical roof manhole provided through the floating roof. The detachable device is housed in the cylindrical body, the inside of the cylindrical body is opened to the atmosphere, and the lower end of the cylindrical body is provided around the detachable device at a position lower than the detachable device. This is an access manhole for a floating roof type tank, characterized in that it is immersed in the sealing liquid of a seal pan and is airtightly sealed from the inside of the tank.

A cylindrical roof manhole 2 that penetrates the floating roof 1 in correspondence with a flat diffuser nozzle 4 that is attached to a pipe 8 on the bottom plate 7 of the tank via a flange.
is fixed to the floating roof 1. Roof manhole 2
A removable cylindrical body 9 is inserted into the cylindrical body 9, and the nozzle 4 is housed in the cylindrical body 9. The lower end of the cylindrical body 9 is immersed in a sealing liquid 13, such as water, poured into a sealing pan 11 located above the liquid level 10 in the tank and below the nozzle 4. As a result, the inside of the cylinder 9 is airtightly sealed from the inside of the tank. The inner periphery of the seal pan 11 is welded to the outer periphery of a fitting 12 for mounting the nozzle 4 in a fluid-tight manner. The outer periphery of the seal pan 11 is surrounded by a weir plate 15 so that the seal liquid 13 can be stored therein. A soft seal 14 made of urethane foam or the like is provided at the upper part between the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 9 and the inner periphery of the roof manhole 2 to airtightly isolate between the atmosphere and the inside of the tank. The upper end of the cylindrical body 9 is open to the atmosphere, and a worker can enter the cylindrical body 9 from above to attach and detach the nozzle 4 easily and safely. After the work is completed, a worker steps onto the floating roof 1 from above the cylindrical body 9, pulls out the cylindrical body 9 from above, and attaches a blind flange to the upper end of the roof manhole 2.

Effects According to the present invention, the structure is simple because a removable cylindrical body is inserted into a cylindrical roof manhole provided through the floating roof. Since the inside of the body is open to the atmosphere and airtightly sealed to the inside of the tank, a worker can enter the cylinder and perform work easily and safely when gas or liquid is present in the tank. Therefore, there is no need to drain the liquid inside the tank or clean the tank, making it possible to provide an extremely efficient and economical access manhole. Furthermore, since the lower end of the cylinder is immersed in the sealing liquid of the seal pan installed at a lower position than the device to be attached and removed, the lower end of the cylinder is airtightly sealed. It is very convenient because the lower end of the body is completely sealed and the cylindrical body can be pulled upwards after the work is completed.
