Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] 1. A wire-shaped frame formed to match the contours of the face, a mental pad fixed to the lower part of the frame so as to fit tightly to the jaw, and a part that is attached to the maxilla or an integral part thereof. In the maxillary forward traction device, the maxillary anterior traction device includes a hook member for pulling the maxilla forward by hanging the other end of the string-like elastic body, the hook member being attached to the upper part of the mental pad. A maxillary anterior traction device, characterized in that it is a pair of maxillary anterior traction devices attached to a frame in a direction substantially perpendicular to the frame. 2. The hook member includes a base portion implanted in the mental pad, a pair of hairpin-shaped bent portions formed in a horizontal direction continuous with the base portion, and a pair of hairpin-shaped bent portions formed in a vertical direction continuous with the hairpin-shaped bent portions. The maxillary anterior traction device according to claim 1, further comprising a hook portion formed therein and opening downward. 3. The maxillary anterior traction device according to claim 1, wherein the hook member is formed of a wire-like elastic body that can be plastically deformed by the force of fingers.
