分となつて、適正な内径寸法の雌ねじが得られな
いのである。このため、寸法精度の高いプレスパ
ンチ等によつて下穴を形成する場合はそのままタ
ツプ立てを行うことができるものの、ドリル等の
切削工具による場合には、工具による拡大代が不
安定で下穴の径寸法がばらつくため、タツプ立て
に先立つてリーマ通しをするなど、所定の寸法精
度を得るための煩雑な作業が必要とされていた。

【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 形成すべき雌ねじに対応するねじ山が形成され
た雄ねじ部を有し、該雄ねじ部が予め被加工物に
設けられた前記雌ねじの有効径と略同一寸法の下
穴内にねじ込まれることにより、該下穴の表面部
を塑性変形させて前記雌ねじを成形する一方、該
雄ねじ部の谷径を前記形成すべき雌ねじの内径寸
法よりも小さくするとともに、該内径寸法と等し
い外周部に前記ねじ込み方向と逆向きの切刃を有
するリーマが、前記雄ねじ部の先端に該雄ねじ部
と同一軸線上に一体的に設けられ、前記雌ねじの
成形後に該雄ねじ部が逆まわりに回転して前記下
穴から引き出される際に該成形された雌ねじの内
径を切削仕上げする形式の盛上げタツプにおい
て、 前記リーマに、谷径が前記形成すべき雌ねじの
内径寸法と等しいとともに外径が前記下穴の径寸
法よりも小さく、且つねじ山角度が前記雄ねじ部
のねじ山と等しいとともに谷底の幅が前記形成す
べき雌ねじのねじ山の山頂の幅と等しい低ねじ山
を、該雄ねじ部のねじ山と同一の螺旋上に設ける
とともに、前記切刃を該低ねじ山の谷底に設けた
ことを特徴とする盛上げタツプ。
