Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 表からの光と裏からの光のどちらによつても起
    電力を生じる太陽電池と、前記太陽電池にて発生
    した電力を蓄電するための蓄電手段と、強誘電性
    液晶装置と、前記強誘電性液晶装置に加わる電界
    の方向を変えるためのスイツチとを有する遮光装
    置において、前記太陽電池の任意の方向より入射
    する光によつて生じた電力を蓄電手段に蓄電し、
    更に該電力を強誘電性液晶装置に加える際に、電
    界の方向を変えるための前記スイツチを通じて強
    誘電性液晶装置へ電力を供給し、該スイツチによ
    つて強誘電性液晶分子に加わる電界の方向を切り
    換えることで強誘電性液晶分子の配向方向を変化
    させ、強誘電性液晶装置の透過光量を制御するこ
    とを特徴とする遮光装置。
