Claims (1)
チツプ取付座に、すくい面となる上面の稜線部に
少なくとも2つの円弧状の切刃が形成されたスロ
ーアウエイチツプが、その一の円弧状の切刃を前
記エンドミル本体の外周側から先端側に位置させ
るとともに、着座面となる下面および他の円弧状
の切刃に沿う側面をそれぞれ前記チツプ取付座の
取付底面および取付側面に当接させて装着されて
なるボールエンドミルにおいて、前記スローアウ
エイチツプの着座面と前記チツプ取付座の取付底
面のいずれか一方に凸部を設けるとともに他方に
前記凸部と係合する凹部を設け、かつ、それら凸
部と凹部の双方の壁面に互いに密着し得る平坦面
をそれぞれ形成してなることを特徴とするボール
エンドミル。 (2) 前記平坦面は、前記チツプ取付座に装着さ
れたスローアウエイチツプが荷重を受けたときに
移動していく方向に対して、略直交するように形
成されていることを特徴とする実用新案登録請求
