Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate riding onto a boat from the under-water by connecting a ladder main boat to the boat so that it may run only around a rotational axis parallel to its side, and maintaining the body vertical to the boat even if the boat is inclined when a user is on the body. CONSTITUTION:A ladder main body A has a plurality of lateral rods extending laterally and connected thereto between a pair of right and left columns 1, 2 extending in the vertical direction. The rod 3 is bent in a recessed form such that the central part is recessed rather than the opposed ends. The columns 1, 2 and the rod 3 are made of aluminum pipes and are given with float by closing the opposed ends. A mounting member 6 is connected to the upper end of one 1 of the columns via a hinge 7, while the connection pin 8 arranged at the lower face of the member 6 is inserted into a through hole 5 for insertion of an oar support pin bored at a frame member 45 of a boat B. It is thus possible to maintain the body vertically even if the boat B is inclined.

(Function) When you put your weight on the ladder, the ladder sinks and the boat tilts.
However, since the ladder rotates around an axis of rotation parallel to the boat's side, even if the boat tilts, the ladder will not tilt and will remain vertical.

Additionally, since the ladder only rotates around the aforementioned axis of rotation and not in the longitudinal direction of the boat, this, combined with the longitudinal stability of the boat, prevents the ladder from tipping forward or backward. and keep it well vertical.

The pillars 1.2 and horizontal bar 3 of the ladder body A are made of aluminum pipes, and if the end of the vibrator is closed and the inside is sealed, it will create buoyancy and will not sink even if the ladder body A is accidentally dropped into the water. It has the advantage of being easily recoverable.

Figure 3 (a) and (b) show ladder body A and boat B.
FIG. Reference numeral 4 indicates a frame material along the upper edge of the ship's side, and reference numeral 5 indicates a through hole for inserting an oar support pin that passes through the frame member 4 in the longitudinal direction. When the ladder is not attached, a support pin (not shown) that serves as a fulcrum for the oar is inserted through the through hole 5.

Reference numeral 6 denotes a mounting member connected to the upper end of the support column 1 via a hinge 7 so as to rotate on a plane including the support columns 1 and 2, and a connecting pin 8 is installed on the lower surface of the attachment member.

After the connecting pin 8 is inserted into the through hole 5 and the mounting member 6 is fitted to the outer periphery of the frame material 4, the lower end of the connecting pin 8 is bent at a right angle to fix it in place (Fig. 3(b)), the ladder body A.

In this connected state, ladder body A is connected to boat B.
It is possible to rotate only around the axis of rotation (axis of the hinge 7) parallel to the ship's side.

Therefore, when a person gets on the ladder body A, the boat B tilts due to his/her weight, but the ladder body A rotates relative to the boat B and does not sink in the direction of the load, that is, directly downwards (FIG. 4).

In addition, the weight of one person on the ladder body A is biased towards the side on which one person is standing, that is, towards the side of the ladder (H).
Ladder main body A does not tilt in its length direction relative to boat B, and boat B does not easily tilt in its length direction, so ladder main body A does not tilt upward even when a person gets on it.

If the ladder is not used, place the tip of the ladder body A directly above it as shown in Figure 5. If the ladder main body A is brought out above the water surface in this way, there is no problem with the running of the boat B.

FIG. 6 shows an embodiment in which two hinges 7 are interposed in parallel between the pillar 1 of the ladder body and the mounting member 6.

FIG. 8 shows another embodiment of the ladder body A, in which the upper ends of the columns 1.2 are integrally connected by a chevron-shaped frame. By holding this chevron-shaped part with your hand, you can safely transfer from the ladder main body A to the boat B.

(Effects of the Invention) In short, according to the present invention, the ladder body is connected to the boat so that it rotates only around the axis of rotation parallel to the ship's side, so even if the boat tilts while riding on the ladder, the ladder body will not tilt. Since the ladder is vertical, you can easily climb the ladder without tilting your body upwards, and you can board the boat from the water without any problems.

Furthermore, since the horizontal bar of the ladder body is located perpendicular to the side of the boat, even when climbing the ladder with flippers on, the flippers will not come in contact with the boat and get in the way.

The underwater ladder of this invention is particularly suitable for multi-person lifesaving aluminum boats and is convenient for use by heavily armed rescuers wearing tanks and flippers, but it can also be used for leisure purposes. Needless to say.
