Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively and exactly supply and transfer articles in continuously supplying medicines into a carton by slackly suspending a chain conveyor having attached article receiving containers, and slacking off a conveyor at an article receiving position to temporarily stop the container for receiving the article. CONSTITUTION:A chain conveyor 4 is suspended between chain wheels 1, 3 in a condition where it is slacked with ample acope, and moved by a driving chain wheel 1 to the right in a figure. In addition, an intermittent torque adding mechanism 6 gives intermittent torque to a driven chain wheel 3 to slack the chain conveyor 4 near the wheel 3. Containers 5 therefore mutually approach to make another following container 5 stop temporarily, and articles are supplied to the above stopping container 5. The containers 5 having the supplied articles are continuously transferred by a continuously rotating driving chain wheel 1. Thus, the articles are effectively and exactly supplied to the container without any shock to a chain.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the case of the above-mentioned conventional technology, the repeated intermittent movement and stopping operations place a large shock load on the conveyor, which is likely to cause damage or failure, making it difficult to use the conveyor for a long period of time. Not only is it difficult to withstand this, but the supply of goods is only fed from a specific location into one container only when the conveyor is stopped, so there is an unavoidable lack of speed such as intermittent movement. Combined with this, there is a problem that it is extremely inefficient. Furthermore, it is not always easy to timely and accurately supply the article from the supply device into a specific container within an extremely limited downtime, and there is a problem in that supply errors are likely to occur.

(Means for Solving the Problems) As a means for achieving the above object, in the present invention, a chain conveyor that rotates at a required speed via chain wheels arranged on the left and right is provided with an appropriate interval. When sequentially supplying and transferring articles into a large number of loaded containers, the chain conveyor is suspended in a relaxed state, and the rotational force is applied intermittently to the driven chain wheel on the empty container delivery side. In addition, the chain conveyor feed amount of the driven chain wheel is intermittently increased, and the chain of the chain conveyor on the sending side is loosened and flexed within the range of the increased feed amount. A method of bringing a plurality of containers on a chain close to each other, temporarily stopping a connected container among the containers, supplying an article into the stopped container, and then sequentially transferring the containers to which each article has been supplied. We adopted a continuous supply and transfer method of goods characterized by the following.

(Function) In the continuous supply and transfer method of articles configured as described above, of the chain wheels arranged on both the left and right sides, the container receiver is connected to the drive chain wheel on the receiving side (as shown in Figures 1 to 3). When the chain wheel on the right side is actively rotated by the motor, the driven chain wheel on the container delivery side (the chain wheel on the left side in each of the above figures) is driven to rotate via the chain conveyor itself. As shown in FIG. 1, a chain conveyor suspended in a relaxed state on a chain wheel has its lower side relaxed downward. Next, when a predetermined rotational force is intermittently applied to the driven chain wheel on the container delivery side through an appropriate intermittent rotational force application mechanism (see Fig. 4), the chain wheel will move so that the container receiver is on the receiving side. The chain wheel is rotated at an increased speed than the rotational speed of the chain wheel, and therefore, as shown in FIG. 2 or 3, the chain of the chain conveyor on the delivery side is intermittently loosened and bent within the range of the increased rotation amount. When the chain slackens and bends intermittently in this way, multiple containers on the chain in the slackened and deflected range come close to each other or come into contact with each other, and at this time, the driven chain wheel on the container delivery side applies the next intermittent rotational force. Since the container is stopped until this is performed, the following containers among the plurality of containers that are close to or in contact with each other are automatically and reliably stopped during that time.

The article A is supplied from the required number of supply devices 15 provided on the container delivery side of the driven chain wheel 3 to the containers 5 that are temporarily stopped. The stop time can be adjusted and set as appropriate by adjusting the operation interval and rotation amount of the intermittent rotational force applying mechanism 6,
Depending on the amount of additional rotational force, the adjustment can be made as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, for example. In either case, the preset number of containers 5 to be stopped and the stopping time are constant due to the continuous operation of the intermittent rotational force applying mechanism 6, so articles can be supplied to the plurality of containers 5 in a timely manner while they are stopped. By doing so, it is possible to efficiently and reliably supply the goods, and the containers that have been supplied with the goods are sequentially and continuously transferred by the constantly rotating driving chain wheel 1, and are placed in a separate container (not shown). It is automatically sent to an article packaging device, etc.

(Effects of the Invention) The present invention sequentially supplies articles into a large number of containers placed at appropriate intervals on a chain conveyor that rotates at a required speed via chain wheels placed on the left and right. When transporting empty containers, the chain conveyor is suspended in a relaxed state, and other rotational force is intermittently applied to the driven chain wheel on the sending side of the empty container, so that the driven chain wheel is sent to the chain conveyor. By intermittently increasing the feed rate and loosening and deflecting the chain of the chain conveyor on the sending side within the range of the increased feed rate, a plurality of containers on the chain in this slack and deflected range are brought close together and the containers are filled. A method for continuous supply and transfer of articles, characterized by temporarily stopping a subsequent container, supplying the articles into the stopped container, and then sequentially transferring the containers to which each article has been supplied. Since the conveyor is not moved and stopped intermittently as in the conventional system, there is no shock load on the chain conveyor due to repeated intermittent movement and stopping, and the durability of the chain conveyor is improved. In addition to significantly increasing the number of containers, it is possible to temporarily stop multiple containers at the same time at the chain feeding section of the driven chain wheel, so it is possible to reliably supply items to multiple containers at the same time, and the containers that have already been supplied with the items are constantly rotating. Since the articles are continuously transferred to a predetermined packaging device by a continuous driving chain wheel, the continuous supply and transfer of articles can be accomplished extremely smoothly and efficiently.
