Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 [発明の背景と目的] 本発明は、架橋ポリエチレン絶縁ビニルシース
ケーブル(以下CVケーブルと云う)用の接続部
を押出し装置を用いて成型する場合に特に適した
押出装置に関する。

CVケーブルは、保守管理が容易であることか
ら、154KV系統の長距離線路あるいは275KVの
発変電所構内の連絡線にすでに広く用いられてお
り、更には275KVの長距離線路に対しても適用
が計画されている。このように、275KV以上の
長距離線路にCVケーブルを用いる場合には、そ
の直線接続部はケーブルの製造技術を現場に適用
した押出モールド型となるのが普通である。押出
モールド接続部は、押出装置とモールド金型とを
直結して製作されるが、押出し絶縁体に異物の混
入があると、接続部自体の特性に悪影響があり、
このような異物混入は避けるべきである。このよ
うな異物の混入は、注入絶縁材料の厳選および押
出機におけるスクリーンとによりかなり防止出来
るが、まだ充分とは言えない。

本発明の目的は、押出装置から押出される例え

になつた押出装置を提供することである。

[発明の概要] 本発明によれば、押出装置のスクリユー出口お

メツシユとブレーカプレートからなる異物混入防
止機構を夫々設けることにより上記目的を達成す
る。

[実施例] 第1図は、本発明の一実施例を示す概略図であ
る。本発明の押出装置は駆動部1、樹脂補給部
2、スクリユー3、スクリーンメツシユ4、ブレ
ーカプレート5およびクロスヘツド6から成り、
クロスヘツド6は連結管7により接続部成型用金
型10に接続する。連結管7と金型10との連結
部近傍には、スクリーンメツシユおよびブレーカ
プレートからなるスクリーン部9が設けてあり、
使用に当つてはクロスヘツド6で押出し前に樹脂
の空出しを行い、異物混入のないことを確認した
上で金型10に溶融ポリオレフインの押出しを行
う。

この押出装置は、100℃〜160℃の所定温度に加
熱され、樹脂補給部2からスクリユー3によりポ
リオレフインを溶融混練し、スクリーンメツシユ
4とブレーカプレート5を通して押出されるが、
連結部7にも加熱部が設けられて全長にわたり所
定温度となるようにされている。金型10と連結
管7との間のスクリーン部9は、金属製金網で40
〜2000メツシユの網目を有するスクリーンを複数
取付け、更に所定形状の穴を有するブレーカプレ
ートを設けて形成されている。このようにするこ
とにより、連結管あるいはクロスヘツドで生じる
異物の樹脂への混入は、ほぼ完全に防止出来る。
なお、11はCVケーブルを示し、12は溶融樹
脂を示している。

[発明の効果] 本発明によれば、押出機構とケーブル接続部成
型用金型との間に二重のスクリーン部が形成され
ることになり、押出しポリオレフインに対する異
物レベルを極端に低下させることが出来、電気特
性のすぐれた接続部を製作出来る。更に、スクリ
ーン部の構造は、極めて簡単であるから装置自体
が極めて経済的であるばかりか、その取扱いがき
わめて容易でもある。
