Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten the construction period by providing foundation piles in a line along the longitudinal direction of a structure and forming fitting sections between pile heads and the structure in a hinge configuration.
CONSTITUTION: A structure 2 serving as a retaining wall to retain the banking or excavation is constructed on the ground, and a support wall 5 is erected on a base board 4 as a concrete configuration. Foundation piles 6 are driven in a line along the longitudinal direction of the structure 2 at the low positions of the ground 1 to support the structure 2. Pile heads of the foundation piles 6 are arranged so as to support the lower section of the base board 4 near the support wall 5 directly below the base board 4 of the structure 2, and fitting portions of the structure 2 are connected with a hinge configuration 7. A reaction force against the ground 1 is generated on the lower face of the base board 4, the vertical load applied to the foundation piles is mitigated, thus the scale of the foundation configuration can be decreased.
