リンダブロツクのウオータージヤケツトとを、こ
れらシリンダヘツドおよびシリンダブロツクのそ
れぞれに設けられたボス部間にボルトを貫挿締結
することによつて互いに連通させ、これらウオー
タージヤケツト間に冷却水を供給するようにした
水冷エンジンにおいて、上記ウオータージヤケツ
トの内部における上記シリンダヘツドのボス部外
周面および上記シリンダブロツクのボス部外周面
の少なくとも一方に、これらシリンダヘツドおよ
びシリンダブロツクの合わせ面に向けて上記ボス
部の外方に延設されるリブを設けたことを特徴と
