Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformize air delivered from a fan approximately throughout the whole of a delivery port and to increase an amount of air delivered, by a method wherein a baffle plate is situated in a position, where it is displaced from the plate of the blade of a fan, to a scroll plate on the delivery side of a cross fan. CONSTITUTION:Ten baffle plates 32 are laterally aligned to a scroll plate 30 on the delivery side, with which a part of a casing 31 of a cross fan 5 is formed. All of the ten baffle plates 32 are individually situated approximately in the middle between adjoining plates 34 and the plate and an end plate 35, namely, the baffle plate 32 is situated in a position where it is displaced from the plate 34. By arranging the baffle plates 32 in a manner described above, component of velocity distribution at a discharge port 36 is uniformized.
