Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] A disc mounting device for mounting the disc by drawing a tray on which a disc is placed, which is located at a position protruding outward from the main body of the disc playback device, into the main body of the disc playback device by a motor, a first detection device that optically detects the leading outer peripheral edge of the disk in the retracting direction and the center hole of the disk during the retracting process; and the outer peripheral edge of the disk when the disk is correctly placed. and a second detection device that optically detects the detected portion provided on the tray in a positional relationship corresponding to the center hole, and when the disk is placed correctly, both detection devices are substantially in contact with each other.
