射するニツプノズル列と、前記主ロールと下流側
主ロール間に多数配置されたうちの適宜のバツク
アツプロール間にその底面がベルトと所要の間隔
を存するように配置されたデフレクター及びこの
デフレクターの脚部裏側に向けて冷却水を噴射す
るデフレクターノズルを具備してなるツインベル
ト式連続鋳造機の冷却装置において、前記デフレ
クターの上流側端部底面とベルトが平行となるよ
うに上流側端部底面を形成すると共に、この平行
部から下流側端部に続く底面に、ベルトとの間隔
が下流側にゆくに従つて広くなる末広がり状とな
るように傾きをつけたことを特徴とするツインベ
