- 読取り走査上の下流側に設けた第１ガイド部と
、読取り走査上の上流側に設けた第２ガイド部と
、前記第１ガイド部と第２ガイド部に支持され、
かつ読取り素子と結像素子を搭載する移動部材と
、原稿面側の規制部材に弾接する第３ガイド部と
を具備し、前記移動部材が走行するように構成し
た画像読取り装置において、前記第１、第２、第
３ガイド部のうち少くとも１つに、移動部材が読
取り素子の素子列長手方向に移動するのを規制す
る規制部材を設けたことを特徴とする画像読取り
装置。
