Claims (1)
- 原稿台上に読取らせたい原稿を載置し、該原稿
台を駆動源の動力を用いて移動させ、被読取面に
光源を照射してその反射光を光学的読取手段にて
読取る画像読取装置において、原稿台の移動速度
を監視するための速度検出手段を備え、その移動
速度の監視により原稿台送りに異常が発生したこ
とを検出した時、或いは電源オフ時には駆動源か
らの動力が原稿台送り用として伝達されるのを遮
断する遮断手段を設けたことを特徴とする画像読
取装置。
