、 ドライブケース内に設けられて上記磁気デイス
クカセツトを装填する装填室と、該装填室に設け
られて上記メデイア盤に記録を行なう磁気ヘツド
と、上記装填室への磁気デイスクカセツトの装填
時に上記メデイア盤のハブ部を上記ドライブケー
スに取り付けられたケース側部材と共同で挟持す
るメデイア盤保持部材と、該メデイア盤保持部材
を回転駆動するモータとを有する磁気デイスクド
ライブと を具備する磁気記録装置であつて、 上記メデイア盤保持部材は、 上記ハブ部を挟持し回転させるメデイア盤挟持
軸と、 該メデイア盤挟持軸を上記ドライブケースに対
して回転自在に保持するスラストベアリングとを
