Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a gasket enabling the condition of pressure, temperature or the like applied thereto to be easily measured, by forming soft metal layers on both surfaces of a sheet-like metal core to provide a sheet material provided with a hole similar to usual one. CONSTITUTION:This inspection gasket is constituted from a sheet material 11 formed on both surfaces of a sheet-like metal core 2 of iron plate or metal guaze having hooks with soft metal layers 10, 10 of lead, aluminum or the like. This sheet material 11 similarly to usual cylinder head gaskets 1 is provided with bores 5 aligned with openings on the top of cylinders, small circular holes 6 for inserting fastening bolts and through holes 7 for letting lubricating oil and cooling water flow therethrough. に装着されたグロメット8.8同士は、連結部9.9を
介して互いに連結されている。

ッドガスケット1に加わる圧力や温度等の条件を測定す
る事が難しく、シリンダヘッドガスケット1を構成する
ガスケット材料3の選定やシリンダヘッドガスケット1
の厚さの決定も、勘や施行錯誤により行なわなければな
らず、必ずしも最適な条件を求める事が出来なかった。

ト1に代えて本発明の検査用シリンダヘッドガスケット
を挟持し、エンジンを所定時間運転する。
