The upper surface of the time indicators, etc. formed protrudingly by pressing or implanting on the clock dial, is polished or plated to create a bright surface, but the light reflected from this surface is solely due to the material. It was a one-dimensional item that was determined by the time of use, and moreover, it was prone to losing its luster with long-term use. On the other hand, Mikoaki
55-10947, etc., where paint etc. is embedded in a transparent body, depending on the material to be buried and the color of the transparent body, it gives the time sign a color tone that cannot be achieved with metal. However, on the other hand, since these are only used to see through the buried material inside, they cannot be expected to provide the luminance effect required for time signs and the like.

FIG. 1 shows an enlarged view of the one hour indicator 1 on the clock dial according to the present invention, and also shows the second hour indicator 1 on the clock dial according to the present invention.
The figure shows the machining process. The outer shell 3 of the time indicator 1 is pressed into place on the dial 2.
After forming a protruding portion and forming a first reflective film 4 on the back surface by vapor deposition or plating, the top 2a of the portion that will become the outer shell 3 is raised to the level of the two-dot chain line shown in Fig. 2A. Cut. Next, the interior of the outer shell 3 thus formed is filled with a colorless or colored optical resin 5 so that the upper part protrudes from the cut surface, and metal vapor deposition or plating is applied to the back surface of the dial plate 2 again. to form the second reflective film 6, and finally the optical resin 5 protruding onto the dial 2.
The upper part of the dial was cut out as shown in FIG. 2B to form a time indicator as shown in FIG.

When the time indicator formed in this way is irradiated with white light such as sunlight from the outside, the light with different wavelengths in the white light enters the optical resin 5 with different incident planes, and these lights enter the optical resin 5. The light is reflected by one or both of the first and second reflective films 4 and 6 formed on the side and bottom surfaces of the camera and reaches the user's eyes. Therefore, the user perceives the time index 1 as bright light that is spectrally divided and colored, and the small time index 1 can be reliably and visually recognized as beautiful.

Note that the above-mentioned time indicator 1 is simply cut out of the surface of the optical resin 5, but if a metal film or the like with a thickness corresponding to the wavelength of light is formed on this surface, the iris effect can be further enhanced. can do.
Furthermore, if the cut surfaces of, for example, 12 time markers 1 formed around the dial 1 are made different, it is possible to extract reflected light of different colors from the individual time markers 1. 5 or by appropriately selecting the colors of the reflective films 4 and 6,
It is also possible to bias the iris to a colored color.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a ring-shaped outer shell 3' is formed on the outer periphery of the dial 2, a first reflective film 4' is provided on the inner surface, and The inner surface of this outer shell 3' is scraped off, the inside is filled with optical resin 5, and a second reflective film 6 is applied to the bottom surface, and the surface of the optical resin 5 exposed inside the dial 2 is coated with a second reflective film 6. According to this embodiment, the dial ring can be formed integrally with the dial 2, and at the same time, the surface of the dial ring can be made to shine in an iridescent color to form the dial plate. 2. You can decorate the top.

In yet another embodiment shown in FIG. 4, a dial ring 8 made of a transparent resin material with an uneven cut surface 7' formed on the inner circumferential edge is mounted in a step inside a body 9 whose surface is coated with a reflective film 4''. Although the iris light is emitted from this part by being placed and fixed on the part 9a, the present invention can also be applied to other members constituting the display body of the watch, such as a rotating ring. can.

As described above, according to the present invention, a reflective film is provided on the back side of the display body made of a transparent material and on the side surface of the part buried in the dial, and a part of the display body is exposed on the dial. Then, we made a cut in the exposed part to make it easier to separate the reflected light, so the light entering the display is reflected in two different directions by the reflective films on the bottom and side surfaces, and each of these reflections is Light can be radiated outward through the cut surface, giving the display itself an iridescent shine similar to that of a diamond, and providing a striking contrast with the dial. Moreover, since the reflective film made of metal or the like is shielded from the outside air by the transparent material, the brightness of the display can be maintained for a long period of time.
