Claims

In a cover opening/closing mechanism that supports a movable cover so as to be openable and closable with respect to a fixed cover, the movable cover has a shaft hole on one side and a fixed ratchet having a screw hole in the center on the other corresponding side, and the fixed cover a movable ratchet that is provided with a rotating shaft that engages in the shaft hole at a position corresponding to the hole, and that engages with the fixed ratchet at a position that corresponds to the fixed ratchet; an elastic body that urges the movable ratchet toward the fixed ratchet; and an elastic body for the movable ratchet. A cover opening/closing mechanism characterized in that the movable ratchet is provided with a guide that is slidably but non-rotatably engaged with the fixed cover, the movable ratchet being provided with a screw that extends through the body and is screwed into the screw hole.
