ームとカツタベアリングによりシールド本体に対
して回転自在に支持し、カツタヘツドの後方に円
板状隔壁を設けたシールド掘進機において、カツ
タヘツドの回転中心と同軸上に、カツタヘツドの
中央部裏面と前記支持ビームおよび円板状隔壁に
より囲まれたチヤンバ内部の掘削土砂を撹拌する
撹拌翼を設け、この撹拌翼の軸を前記円板状隔壁
を貫通させてシールド本体側に設けた独立の駆動
装置に歯車を介して結合し、撹拌翼の軸の切羽側
先端部はカツタヘツド中心部に回転自在に挿入し
、撹拌翼の軸の中心部にはシールド機内とカツタ
ヘツド内部とを連通する穴を設け、この穴を、カ
ツタヘツドに内蔵されたスリツト開閉装置、余掘
り装置等の付属装置を作動させるための油圧配管
や地山状態を検知するセンサの信号受渡しのため
の電気配線を通す導通路としたことを特徴とする
