(Prior Art) In general, a cutting machine consists of a feeding member that sends out an object to be cut loaded on a table, a knife with a straight edge that moves up and down diagonally to cut the object, and a blade positioned immediately behind the knife. The clamp member is arranged to press the object to be cut during cutting with the knife. Furthermore, it has become common for this cutting machine to be equipped with a computer-controlled automatic feeding mechanism. On the other hand, a cutting machine for cutting fabrics such as clothes is constructed so that a cutting blade with a corrugated cutting edge moves straight down to cut the fabric, and is manufactured as a completely different device from the above-mentioned cutting machine. Furthermore, since it is a specialized machine and lacks versatility, it is not possible to install an expensive automatic feed mechanism, and the current situation is that the feed amount is measured manually using a ruler or the like.

(Problems that the invention aims to solve) As mentioned above, conventional cutting machines are dedicated machines and cannot be used to cut other materials, so they generally have low operating rates, take up a large footprint, and require manual feeding. Therefore, there were problems such as poor processing accuracy, easy product loss, and high costs because skilled workers were required. Moreover, if this cutting machine is made into a high-class machine, even if the precision and efficiency are improved, there is a problem in that the operating rate is low, which increases the cost. Furthermore, in the case of fabric sample book manufacturers, for example, they are equipped with both paper cutting machines and fabric cutting machines, which requires a large installation space and is very inefficient.

(Means for solving problems) In order to solve these conventional problems,
It would be good if the cutting machine could also be used to cut fabric, but as mentioned above, the cutting machine is configured so that the knife moves up and down diagonally, so instead of the cutting machine's knife, the cutting edge should be wavy. Even if the fabric cutting blade is made removable, it cannot cut the fabric. Therefore, in the present invention, we focused on the fact that the clamp member of the cutting machine moves up and down in a straight line, and attached a fabric cutting blade to this clamp member so that it can also be used as a fabric cutting machine. That is, in the present invention, the fabric cutting blade is configured to be removably attached to the clamp member of the cutting machine, and the upper ends of a pair of left and right rotating arms are pivotally attached to the cutting machine so as to be able to freely rotate in the vertical direction. A sliding rod that is constantly pressed downward by a spring force is attached to the arm so as to be able to slide up and down, and a fabric pressing member is integrally provided at the lower end of the sliding rod, and the lower surface of the upper end of the sliding rod is clamped. To provide a fabric cutting/cutting machine which is received on the upper end surface of a member so as to be able to come into contact with and separate from it.

(Function) With this structure, when cutting paper, the clamp member presses and fixes the paper as usual without attaching the fabric cutting blade to the clamp member, and the knife is lowered diagonally. When cutting the fabric, the knife is not used, but the fabric cutting blade is attached to the clamp member, and then the rotating arm is placed in a hanging state and attached to the rotating arm so that it can slide up and down. The lower surface of the upper end of the sliding rod is brought into contact with the upper end surface of the clamp member by a spring force.

When the clamp member is lowered in this state, the sliding rod is also lowered together by the spring force, and the lower fabric pressing member presses and fixes the fabric, and when pressed, the sliding rod is in that position. Although the clamp member is kept stationary, the clamp member further descends relative to the sliding rod and cuts the fabric with a fabric cutting blade attached to the lower end of the clamp member.

In the cutting machine with the basic configuration as described above, the first
As shown in FIGS. 4 to 4, a mounting step 10a is formed at the lower front end of the clamp member 10, and a pressing piece 19 that presses the object to be cut when cutting paper or the like is used. It is configured such that the fabric cutting blades 20 can be selectively attached using bolts 18, respectively. Further, when cutting the fabric, a presser member 22 is provided that presses the fabric to be cut when the clamp member 10 is lowered. In the illustrated example, a pair of rotating arms 23a, 23b are disposed on the back surface of an upper frame 21 of the cutting machine so as to be able to rotate up and down, and sliding rods 24a, 24b are attached to be slidable in the longitudinal direction of the rotating arms 23a, 23b. A presser member 22 is attached and fixed to the tip. An engagement piece 25 that engages with the upper end of the clamp member 10 extends from the base end of each sliding rod 24a, 24b, and a compression spring 26 that biases the sliding rod toward its tip side extends from the base end of each sliding rod 24a, 24b. It is interposed between the moving rod and the bases of the rotating arms 23a, 23b. In the above configuration, when used as a cutting machine, if the rotating arms 23a and 23b are retracted upward and the pressing piece 19 is attached to the clamp member 10 as shown in FIG. It can be used as a machine. That is, the material to be cut is loaded on the table 1, and the hydraulic pressure control valve 1 is adjusted depending on the paper quality, width, etc.
7 to adjust the clamping force, and after feeding the object to be cut to a predetermined position with the feed member 2, press the two-handed button switch, the clamp member 10 is lowered by the hydraulic cylinder 14, and the object to be cut is moved down by the hydraulic cylinder 14. After clamping the object with an appropriate clamping pressure, the knife 4 descends to cut the object. When the cutting is completed, the clamp member 10 and the knife 4 stop at the top dead center. Next, the object to be cut is sent out by the sending member 2, and the above operation is repeated thereafter.

On the other hand, when cutting fabric, the knife 4 is removed from the tool rest 5, the pressing piece 19 is removed from the clamp member 10, and the fabric cutting blade 20 is attached in its place, and the retracted rotating arm 23a,
23b downward, and the sliding rods 24a, 24b
The engaging pieces 25 of the above are engaged with the clamp member 10, and the racks 31 are engaged with the pinions 30a, 30b, and in this state, the rotating arms 23a, 23b are fixed to the upper frame 21, and the rotating arms 2
3a, 23b and the fixing pins of the sliding rods 24a, 24b. When the settings for the fabric cutting machine are completed, stack the fabric at an appropriate height (about 3cm to 5cm) on a cardboard of about 3 to 4mm, place it on the table 1, and press it against the feed member 2. After the fabric is fed to a predetermined position by the feeding member 2, the pedal or foot switch for operating the clamp member 10 is pressed to lower the clamp member 10 and cut the fabric. At this time, when the clamp member 10 descends, the sliding rods 24a, 24b and the presser member 22 descend together, and when the presser member 22 comes into contact with the object to be cut, the urging force of the compression spring 26 presses the object to be cut, By further lowering the clamp member 10 in this pressed state, the fabric cutting blade 20 cuts the fabric into a wave shape. In addition, when cutting the fabric, clamp member 1
The bottom dead center of 0 is preset at a position where the cutting edge of the fabric cutting blade 20 bites into the cardboard, and when the pedal or foot switch is pressed, the fabric cutting blade 20 stops at this bottom dead center. When the fabric is cut, the clamp member 10 rises, pulls up the presser member 22 against the compression spring 26, and stops at the top dead center. Next, the object to be cut is sent to the next cutting position by the feeding member 2, and the above operation is repeated thereafter.

(Effects of the invention) As is clear from the above explanation, the fabric cutting machine of the present invention can also be used for fabric cutting by simply modifying a part of the configuration of the cutting machine. There is no need to install a dedicated fabric cutting machine, and when it is necessary to cut fabric as well as paper, you can save on cutting machine equipment costs and installation space.
Moreover, since the high-precision feed mechanism of the cutting machine can be used, even unskilled workers can perform high-precision processing, and it is especially applicable to cutting machines that already have a common computer-based automatic feed mechanism. This allows you to work extremely efficiently, eliminates product loss due to poor precision, misreading, and other errors, and avoids damaging expensive fabrics.
It has great practical effects.
