Conventionally, various types of washing machines for root vegetables and fruits have been commercially available. When sharpened, significant polishing spots occur between large and small pieces. For example, Jikko 56-
There is a brush roller, such as No. 30232, in which the upper surface of the brush roller is elastically covered with a rubber plate with brush flocked on it via a spring, but this creates a large resistance on large objects to be processed and forces them to be strongly pressed. This results in the problem of over-polishing the rabbit horn, causing the outer skin to peel off, resulting in lower quality and reduced shelf life. On the other hand, if a cover is not used on the upper part, large polishing residues will be left. To prevent this, it is possible to make the cleaning section longer, but this requires a large-scale equipment, and on the other hand, small items will be over-polished.

The present invention has been devised and developed in view of the above-mentioned problems, and its feature is that inside the main body of the device, which is a horizontally long rectangular parallelepiped, the object to be processed is moved in the same direction as the progress direction from the inlet side to the outlet side. Brush rollers are arranged in parallel, and the brush rollers on both sides of the center are arranged in a V-shape with their axes slightly raised to form a concave part and the center brush roller Opposed to this is a brush roller of a size capable of covering the recess in the longitudinal direction from the inlet side to the outlet side, which is movable up and down intermittently, and is pressed and released as appropriate. The purpose is to allow the action to take place.

FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway perspective view of the device of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional explanatory view of the brush roller portion. Reference numeral 1 denotes the main body of the apparatus, which is formed into a horizontally long rectangular parallelepiped, and has an inlet 2 for the material to be processed at one end and an outlet 3 at the other end.

Reference numerals 4, 5, and 6 denote brush rollers arranged in parallel in the same direction as the traveling direction of the object to be processed within the main body of the apparatus. Here, the central brush roller 4 has a large diameter, and its brush circumferential surface forms a spiral groove S with a portion slightly cut out, so that when rotating, a feeding action is exerted on the processed material toward the exit direction. It's starting to feel like I'm being forced to do it. On the other hand, brush rollers 5 and 6 have a smaller diameter than the brush roller and are arranged in a V-shape surrounding the left and right sides of the brush roller, with each axis slightly elevated.

Reference numeral 7 denotes a large-diameter brush roller provided above the brush roller 4, and is configured to rotate while moving up and down in A and B toward the brush roller 4. The shaft 7a of the brush roller 7 is supported by one end of the lever 8 (the same applies to 8'), and the other end is attached to a shaft 10 supported between bearings 9 and 9' provided on the main body 1 of the device, Moreover, a crank rod 1 is attached to the shaft 10.
1 is fixed and the crank rod 11 is driven by a drive means to be described later through the crank arm 12 to swing in the C and D directions, thereby making the vertical movements in the A and B directions. Note that 13 is a removal roller provided above the brush roller 6 for pushing back the object to be processed to the opposite side in a cleaning operation to be described later.

During operation, when the switch button of the operation box 43 is pressed, the motor 35 is driven, and the rotation is made to rotate each brush roller 4, 5, 6 and the removal roller 13 in the illustrated example through a belt 37 and chains 38, 39. Rotate it in the counterclockwise direction of the arrow,
On the other hand, this rotation also causes the upper brush roller 7 to rotate counterclockwise via the chains 29, 28, and 17. On the other hand, the upper brush roller 7 causes the crank arm 12 to swing through the chain 42, chain ring 40, and shaft 41, thereby swinging the crank rod 11 in the directions of arrows C and D. The support shaft 7a is moved through the levers 8 and 8'.
It is made to swing in the vertical direction of B.
The vertical swing distance can be designed arbitrarily, but is usually about 10 cm.

As the brush rollers rotate, the object 46 to be treated is fed from the input port 2, and the object 46 is rubbed and washed while being held between the brush rollers. At this time, the object to be processed is moved by the rotation of the spiral groove S.
Alternatively, the feed rate can be changed as appropriate by providing an adjustable design in which the outlet 3 side is slightly lower.

In the present invention, the brush roller 7 at the top moves up and down intermittently during the above operation, so even if the object to be processed is uneven and relatively large, this will cause a feeding obstruction and the polishing will be interrupted. It is something that never gets old. Furthermore, even small particles can be reliably polished at the descending end of the brush roller 7 so that no residue remains, and overall uniform rubbing and cleaning can be achieved.
