In the attachment structure of the rod fixing clip on the flange portion of the fender, a retractable hood support rod for holding the hood in an open state is removably held and stored in the engine room almost parallel to the fender. A clip mounting seat surface higher than the general surface is formed immediately in front of the fender tightening part which is lower than the general surface of the fender, and a rod fixing clip is attached to the clip mounting seat surface, and the support rod is fixed to the fender by the rod fixing clip. The clip is held at a position higher than the tightening part and separated from the fender, and a groove is formed between the clip mounting seat and the fender vertical wall to direct the flow of water droplets that have entered the flange part to the fender tightening part. A rod fixing clip mounting structure characterized in that water droplets are prevented from getting onto the hood support rod and the rod fixing clip by allowing the rod to fall further or flowing forward through a groove that serves as a flow path.
