に替つて、プロパンガスを断続的に爆発させその
爆発音により威嚇逃散させる所謂爆音機や、或い
は鳥類の天敵に類する動物の眼型や体型に似せた
模型を吊下させ被捕食威嚇感を以つて逃散させる
所謂威嚇模型が専ら使用されている。

る新たな騒音公害を招来している実情にあり、ま
た威嚇模型では飛来する鳥類に十分視認させる必
要があることから、広大な耕地全体に亘つて多数
吊下設置せねばならずコスト的に割高となるばか
りか、該威嚇模型も単に風による動揺以外その描
写態様も特段変化するものでもなく、時間経過と
ともに慣れが生じ威嚇効果が滅失する等の問題を
抱えている。

の眼型若しくは姿態が模写された威嚇板が吊下さ
れてなるため、風圧を受けて威嚇板が動揺し天敵
の近接威嚇感が創出されるとともに、該威嚇感の
動揺に伴い錘が揺り動かされ而も該錘は重いため
に慣性力が付与され、該慣性力に伴い発音管体内
の振子が振り動かされて発音管体を振打し威嚇音
が発せられる。更に一旦錘に慣性力が付与される
と、仮令風が止んだ場合でも該錘の慣性力で振子
は暫時振打を繰返して威嚇音が連続発音され、而
も下方に吊下された威嚇板も動揺が継続されるこ
ととなる。

成樹脂硬質板材やアルミ板材等の軽量で且剛性の
高い素材を用いてなる風車3が取付られてなるも
ので、該風車3は微風で回転するものであればい
かなる構造のものでも特段に制限はないが、その
回転羽根3Aの表面には光の反射能を高めるうえ
でアルミ粉体を蒸着加工したり、或いはアルミ箔
等の貼合若しくはニツケルやクロムメツキ等の鏡
面加工を施すことが肝要である。無論光の反射能
が十分高められておれば色相面では種々の色を適
宜組合せても差しつかえない。

嚇音の発生と威嚇板の動揺が持続されるため、音
響威嚇と天敵近接威嚇とが相俟つて威嚇効果が著
るしく高まり、而もこれら威嚇要素が複雑に混成
されるため鳥類が慣れにくく、優れた防鳥効果を
発揮しえる等多くの特徴を具備した防鳥威嚇装置
