ツ形のエレメント1を積層してなるコア2と、前
記コア2を被嵌し内部にオイルが流通するケーシ
ング3と、該ケーシング3及び前記コア2の夫々
の中心が貫通され、該ケーシング3をエンジンの
外面に着脱自在に締結する中空ボルト4と、該中
空ボルト4の外周に形成されたバイパス孔5と、
前記エレメント1の中心孔内で前記中空ボルト4
の外周に軸方向へ移動自在に摺接し、そのオイル
入口側の端にオイルシール面が形成された環状体
6と、該中空ボルト4と前記環状体6との間に取
付けられ、オイルの温度が設定値以下のとき、前
記バイパス孔5が開口するように前記環状体6を
位置させる形状記憶合金製の駆動体7と、を具備
し、前記オイル温度が低温のとき該オイルの粘性
の上昇により前記環状体6の前記シール面を軸方
向に押圧して、前記バイパス孔5が開口するのを
助勢するように構成したことを特徴とするオイル
クーラ。 (2) 前記駆動体7がコイルバネからなり、前記
オイル温度が設定値以下のとき該バネが密巻状態
になり前記バイパス孔5を閉塞すると共に、前記
オイル温度が設定値以上のときには該駆動体7が
伸長してそれが粗巻となり、前記バイパス孔5を
開口するように形成された実用新案登録請求の範
