ころ軸受の内輪と、該内輪の軸端側の側面に当接
するシール摺動リングとが嵌合し、複列のころ軸
受の外輪に固定したオイルシールは上記シール摺
動リングと摺接し、上記ねじ部にはシール摺動リ
ングに当接する前蓋が螺合し、該前蓋には車軸に
設けた凹部と係合する凸部を有する小蓋が固定さ
れ、該小蓋に設けた円筒部の外周面に周溝を形成
し、該周溝に合成樹脂製のキヤツプを装着する鉄
道車両の車軸装置において、上記キヤツプの開口
円筒周縁に上記周溝に係合する環状鍔部を形成す
ると共に、上記開口円筒部から底部に続く隅部に
球状凸起を円周複数箇所に形成して上記キヤツプ
に所定の締付力を付与したことを特徴とする鉄道
