して配置されたプラテンを有する熱プリンタにお
いて、前記サーマルヘツドの基板上の両端部に複
数の発熱素子を有する部分グレーズ層をそれぞれ
1列ずつ設け、該部分グレーズ層の形状は、印字
方向と直角方向には柱状で、印字方向の断面形状
が2段以上の突起を有するように形成し、少なく
とも該突起の最上段に発熱素子を配置せしめた構
成のサーマルヘツドと、該サーマルヘツドと対向
して配置せしめるプラテンは、少なくともサーマ
ルヘツドの発熱素子列と対向する部分の形状を概
ね平坦とし、前記サーマルヘツドとプラテンを組
合わせて構成した事を特徴とする熱プリンタ。 2 実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項において、ヘ
ツド基板上の両端部の部分グレーズ層の位置はヘ
ツド基板端面からその中心までの距離が概ね1mm
