の断面図であり、第２図はそのシムのゴム層を補
強する長繊維の配列の様子を示す斜視図である。
第３図は上記実施例のシムを備えたデイスクブレ
ーキの正面断面図である。第４図は上記実施例に
おける鳴き防止効果の確認試験の結果を示すグラ
フである。第５図および第６図はそれぞれ上記実
施例とは繊維に関して異なる実施例を示す断面図
である。 １０：デイスクロータ、１２：インナパツド、
１４：アウタパツド、１６：キヤリパ、２０：リ
アクシヨン部、２２：ピストン、３４，５０，６
０：シム、４２，５２，６６：ゴム層、４４，５
４：長繊維、６４：短繊維。

Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 デイスクロータに押付部材により摩擦パツドを
押し付けることによりデイスクロータの回転を抑
制するデイスクブレーキにおいて摩擦パツドと押
付部材との間に配設される鳴き防止シムであつて
、 前記摩擦パツドおよび前記押付部材の少なくと
も一方と接する側の面にゴム層を設け、かつ、そ
のゴム層を、ゴムより変形し難い材料から成る繊
維で補強したことを特徴とする鳴き防止シム。
