順変換器、4は逆変換器、5は直流リアクトル、
12は冷却槽、13は冷媒、15は変換器箱、1
6は熱交換器である。なお、各図中同一符号は同
一又は相当部分を示す。

変圧器、この変圧器の交流出力を直流出力に変換
する半導体素子を用いた順変換器、この順変換器
の直流出力を交流出力に変換する半導体素子を用
いた逆変換器、この逆変換器と上記順変換器との
間に挿入された超電導コイルを用いた直流リアク
トル、この直流リアクトル及び上記変圧器が収納
され、かつ上記超電導コイルを冷却するための冷
媒が充填された冷却槽、上記順変換器及び逆変換
器を収納する変換器箱、この変換器箱内に設けら
れた上記冷却槽に連通する熱交換器を備えたこと
