穴19bの径は軸8の径よりも大きいが、あまり
大きくない。穴19bの径は次の二つの条件を満
足するように構成されている。1、後述するよう
に、ロープによる力によつてドラム5a,5bの
軸心が軸8に傾斜した場合に穴19bの内面が軸
8の外面に接触しない径である。2、後述するよ
うに、ドラム5a,5bにせん断力が作用した場
合に、穴19bが軸8に接触することができる大
きさである。鏡板18と軸8、継手板19とピン
12とは接触していない。また継手板19の厚さ
はあまり大きくない。特に穴19bの厚さは厚く
ない。
