し、且つ作業面と平行な平面上に配置するように
して両U型蛍光ランプ1を下方に開放された本体
箱2内に収納した構成のものがあつたが、この構
成によれば、作業面において両U型蛍光ランプ1
間に対応する位置では光束が集中し周辺部に比較
して照度が大きくなるものであり、照度の均斉度
が小さいという問題があつた。

おいて両面がサンドブラスト処理を施されたガラ
ス板4が拡散板3と平行となるように配設されて
おり、光の拡散効果が高められている。両U型蛍
光ランプ1は、直線部を互いに平行とし、且つ本
体箱2の中央部において本体箱2の両端部よりも
ガラス板4から離れるように傾いて配設されてお
り、この傾き角度θはU型蛍光ランプ1の管径が
20mm程度、長さが150mm程度であるときにはガラ
ス板4(すなわち、作業面)に対して10度程度の
傾きとなるようにしている。すなわち、各U型ラ
ンプ1は本体箱2の中央寄りの直線部を本体箱2
の端寄りの直線部よりも高い位置に配設している
のである。本体箱2内にはU型蛍光ランプ1に接
続されるソケツト5が配設されており、ソケツト
5の下方は点灯回路等を収納する収納部6となつ
ている。収納部6の下壁には放熱用スリツト7が
形成されている。また、第3図に示すように、本
体箱2の上壁にも放熱用のスリツト8が形成され
ている。

輝度が得られる利点がある。
