[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention mainly uses a coating material for pipes that are coated with a heat insulating layer on the outside, such as hot water distribution pipes for air conditioning, to connect them to the outside surface of the pipe for purposes such as pipe joining. It is a type of tool used when peeling from the joint surface of a tube. Specifically, it is a tool used to peel the coating material on the outside of the tube in a spiral shape into a rotary operation cylinder that can be fitted onto the tube whose outer surface is covered with the coating material. A blade body equipped with a round cutting blade capable of peeling the coating material from the outer surface of the tube and a peeling blade capable of peeling off the coating material from the outer surface of the tube is placed in a position facing a notch formed in the rotary operation cylinder body and penetrating the inner and outer surfaces of the cylinder body. This article relates to a stripper for cladding tubes that is attached.

This type of stripper guides the cutting edge of the blade by abutting the inner circumferential surface of the rotary operation cylinder and the outer circumferential surface of the sheathing material, and moves the cylinder from one end of the sheathing tube toward the axis. By simply rotating while applying pressure in the direction, the coating material on the outside of the pipe can be peeled off in a spiral shape through the cooperation of the round cutting blade and the peeling blade of the blade body. The present invention aims to enable the desired stripping work to be carried out efficiently and safely with a simple operation, compared to methods in which the coated portion over the required length of the cladding tube is sequentially cut with a knife or heated and melted. However, in the above-mentioned conventional devices, such as the one disclosed in Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-16314, the peeling blade is positioned at a lower position for round cutting in the cutting progress direction in the tube axis direction. As a result, the area of contact between the covering material on the outer periphery of the tube and the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder is small, resulting in a structure in which the cylinder easily sways relative to the tube. Therefore, in the past, a guide shaft member that fits into the pipe was provided in order to suppress the wobbling of the cylindrical body and to perform smooth cutting of the coating material into rings. The disadvantages are that it is large and the manufacturing cost is high.

Furthermore, the above-mentioned conventional device is configured so that the cutting action by the round cutting blade of the blade body is performed at the same time as or before the peeling action by the peeling blade in the circumferential direction of the rotating operation cylinder. Therefore, the cutting edge of the stripping blade comes into contact with the outer surface of the tube, and the cutting blade acts on the coating material that is in close contact with the tube, so that the stripping blade and the cutting blade are applied to the outer circumferential surface of the tube. It is easy to accidentally damage the paint-like protective layer such as the anti-corrosion layer. Moreover, in order to prevent such damage to the protective layer, the precision required for assembling and adjusting the attachment position of the blade according to the thickness of the coating material becomes high, and as a result, the assembly and adjustment work becomes more difficult. Since it requires a lot of time and effort, it has the disadvantage that the peeling work tends to be expensive.

The present invention was developed in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and allows for easy peeling work by fitting the rotary operation cylinder onto the tube in a stable posture with less wobbling, without requiring any special guide member. It is an object of the present invention to provide a stripper for cladding tubes that can perform the stripping process well and can prevent damage to the outer circumferential surface of the tube by the blade as much as possible during stripping.

A characteristic configuration of the present invention for achieving the above object is that, in the above-described stripper for cladding tubes, the rotary operation cylinder is fitted onto the tube side surface of the stripping blade in the blade body. In this state, a guide portion that is in contact with the outer surface of the tube and has a substantially thicker wall toward the rear in the direction of progress of peeling the coating material is attached to the tube than the cutting edge of the peeling blade. The cutting blade is formed close to the inner side in the radial direction, and is configured so that the cutting blade acts to cut the coating material peeled off by the peeling blade, and the rotation operation is performed on the pipe. In the posture in which the cylindrical body is fitted onto the outside, the guide portion is disposed on a side farther from the end position of the coating material on the peeling start side than the cutting position with the ring cutting blade in the tube axis direction, and further, The rotary operation cylinder is inserted into the outer circumferential side of the tube in the area where the coating material is present, and the notch is attached to the rear of the rotational operation cylinder in the direction of movement in the tube axis direction due to peeling. opening on the side, and
The point is that the guide and the cutting edge of the peeling blade are positioned within the width of the notch in the tube axis direction.

In other words, when the wall thickness of the coating material is smaller than the amount of protrusion of the blade from the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, even if the blade strongly contacts the outer circumferential surface of the tube, the state in which the rotary operation cylinder is fitted onto the tube will not occur. In this case, the guide part is located radially inward of the tube than the cutting edge of the stripping blade and comes into contact with the outer surface of the tube, so the cutting edge of the stripping blade is spaced upward from the outer surface of the tube. In this state, the cutting edge of the stripping blade lifts the coating material away from the outer surface of the tube, and the lifting force at this time is applied to the joint surface between the outer surface of the tube and the coating material due to the rigidity of the coating material itself. The coating material is peeled off. Then, with the peeling action of the peeling blade, the coating material is peeled off in a direction in which it is successively separated from the outer peripheral surface of the pipe, and then the floating peeled coating material is cut by the cutting blade, so that the outer peripheral surface of the pipe is To prevent or reduce the risk of accidentally damaging a coating film-like protective layer applied to a surface by using a peeling blade and a cutting blade.

Furthermore, the cylinder for rotational operation is fitted into the outer circumferential side of the tube in the area where the coating material is present, and this cylinder can be used as a guide means for rotational operation of the tube, and can also be used as a guide means for rotational operation of the tube. In the posture in which the cylindrical body is fitted onto the outside, the guide part is disposed on the side farther from the cutting position of the ring cutting blade when viewed from the cutting start position for peeling in the tube axis direction, so that the guide part Even if it is peeled off, it is not cut into strings yet, and it gets between the cylindrical covering material and the bare surface of the peeled pipe, reducing the wobbling of the cylindrical body with respect to the pipe, and cutting. The accompanying peeling work can be performed well.

Furthermore, with the stripping blade and the guide section located within the notch, the ring cutting blade is rotated in the circumferential direction of the tube, so the circumferential front and back of the cutting position of the coating material are held down by the cylinder, as described above. In addition, the sheathing material lifted by the guide portion toward the side away from the outer surface of the tube does not loosen, and the tensioned state of the sheathing material is maintained, making it easy to perform the cutting operation well.
