Conventionally, control cables (hereinafter simply referred to as cables) that use this type of terminal member are the third type.
As shown in the figure, a cap member 12 made of metal or the like is fixed to the end of a flexible conduit 11, a substantially spherical concave surface 12a is provided at one end of the cap member, and a guide pipe 13 made of metal is provided. has a substantially spherical convex surface 13a at one end, and the concave surface 1
A ball and socket joint 16 in which a convex surface 13a is rotatably fitted into 2a.
A flexible inner cable 14 is rotatably engaged with the cap member 12 and slidably inserted into the conduit 11, and the end of the inner cable is slidably inserted into the guide pipe 13. The moving rod 5 is tightened.

However, the stroke of the cable is not constant depending on the operating device or the driven device, and it is inconvenient that guide pipes of various lengths must be prepared in order to satisfy each condition. In addition, as shown in Figure 3, in the case of a cable with an extremely long stroke, the guide pipe must necessarily be long to cover the stroke. There is a disadvantage that the distance T from the mounting groove 17 to the midpoint P position between the longest stroke L and the shortest stroke I of the rod 15 is long, which requires a large space.

In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the object of the present invention is to provide an end member for a cable conduit equipped with a guide pipe that can sufficiently hold a rod even for a cable with a long stroke and that can be installed in a relatively narrow space. It's about doing.

When the rod 9 is slid in the direction A in FIG. 1, the end of the rod will eventually come into contact with the end of the sliding tube 4, When the rod is slid in the A direction, the sliding tube 4 is housed together with the rod 9 in the A direction, that is, inside the inner circumferential surface 3c of the fixed tube 3, and the coil spring 5

When the collar 4a contacts the stopper 3b, only the rod 9 remains. It is possible to slide the rod 9 by a predetermined stroke by sliding in direction B.

By using a telescopic guide pipe, the end member of the conduit of the present invention eliminates the need to prepare a wide variety of guide pipes to match the stroke of each cable as in the past, and only the minimum number of types of guide pipes are required. By preparing the pipe, it can be used for cables with far more types of strokes than conventional guide pipes, and the setting position can be made smaller compared to conventional guide pipes, so it can be installed in a relatively narrow space. This is an idea that has unprecedented economic effects.
