するアツプライトタイプの電気掃除機は旋回輪を
備えていないものが多い。しかし、このタイプの
ものは、方向変換に際して重い掃除機本体の後部
を横方向にずらさなければならず操作しにくい欠
点を有している。

ドルを前記掃除機本体に上下方向に回動自在で後
方上部に延出させて取付け、前記上部ハンドルの
下端にその上部ハンドルの軸心に対して屈曲する
軸心を有する嵌合部を固定的に設け、この嵌合部
を前記下部ハンドルの上端に抜止部材により抜け
止めするとともに相対的回動動作範囲を切欠と突
起とにより所定の角度以内に規制して回動自在に
嵌合したものである。したがつて、上部ハンドル
をその軸心回りに回動させるだけでその回動角度
に応じて重い掃除機本体を左右方向へ簡単に旋回
させることができ、しかも、上部ハンドルと下部
ハンドルとの嵌合部における相対的回動動作範囲
を切欠と突起とにより所定の角度以内に規制した
ため、電源コードが過剰に捻れて切れるようなお
