Pressed flowers have traditionally been made by sandwiching collected flowers between newspapers, etc., and pressing them using a book, etc., as a weight.
However, with this method, it takes a long time to make pressed flowers and the color change is significant.

〔従来の技術〕[Conventional technology]

In this flower press, a flower B is sandwiched between foamed urethane sheets C, placed on a container 1, and a pressure plate D is placed on top of the container 1, and the flower B is placed on the pressure plate D through the foamed urethane sheet C. While pressing, electricity is applied to the heating element 2 to heat the flower B, and the water evaporated from the flower B is absorbed by the desiccant 3.

However, in the conventional flower press, the water evaporated from the flowers is absorbed by the desiccant 3, so after the desiccant 3 reaches saturation, it can be regenerated by heating etc.
It took a lot of effort to update things that couldn't be played. Furthermore, in the case of pressed flower vases that do not use desiccant 3, it is necessary to provide many holes in the lid or bottom of the container for moisture evaporation, and the evaporated moisture condenses around the holes, causing so-called dew condensation. It takes time and effort.

Flowers are sandwiched between the breathable cushion layers and heated by a planar heating element while being pressed by a pressing means. Evaporation of the moisture contained in the flowers is promoted by the heating, and the evaporated moisture passes through the breathable cushion layer and is absorbed by the water absorption layer attached to the inner surface of the lid of the container. In this way, the flowers are dried in a short time and pressed flowers are created. The water absorbing layer releases moisture into the surrounding atmosphere and dries naturally.

Therefore, in the present invention, since a planar heating element is used for heating, the flowers can be heated evenly without the need for a thick heat insulating material, and since a water absorption layer is attached to the inner surface of the lid, the water evaporated from the flowers can be absorbed. It is absorbed by the water absorption layer and does not form condensation on the inner surface of the lid, so pressed flowers with little discoloration and evenness can be obtained in a short time. In addition, the sheet heating element has almost no risk of wire breakage, making it possible to make pressed flowers stably, and there is no need to create many holes in the lid or bottom for evaporating moisture, which makes it easier to make pressed flowers. The water absorbing layer will dry naturally by simply leaving the lid open after pressing the flowers.

The present invention will be described with reference to an embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. 1 is a box-shaped container, and a top opening 16 has a rear edge of a frame-shaped lid 11 having an opening 11A. It is hinged, and the bottom surface of the lid 11 has a hole 12A.
A perforated plate 12 having a large number of insulation boards 1 is attached to the inner surface of the perforated plate 12.
3A and felt 13B are attached, and porous plate 12, insulation board 13A, and felt 13B protrude from lid 11 and fit into opening 16 of container 1 with lid 11 closed. It's becoming like that. A U-shaped metal fitting 14 is vertically provided on the front edge of the lid 11, and the U-shaped metal fitting 14 engages with a locking tool 15 attached to the front surface of the container 1.

Inside the container 1, in order from the bottom, there is an insulation board 2 as a water absorbing layer and a heat insulating layer, a planar heating element 3, a polyvinyl chloride film 4 for preventing electric leakage, a hard breathable felt 5 as a heat insulating material, and ventilation. Three layers of flexible polyurethane foam sheets 61, 62, 63 are stacked as cushion layers.
If desired, a polyvinyl chloride film may be further laid under the planar heating element 3.

FIG. 3 shows the circuit of the planar heating element 3. In the figure, the planar heating element 3 has an AC power source 3.
1 is connected, and a fuse 32 and a thermostat 33 are interposed in the circuit so that the inside of the container 1 is heated by the sheet heating element 3 to about 50 to 60 DEG C. by the thermostat 33. At temperatures above 60°C, flowers tend to undergo heat denaturation, and below 50°C, it takes a long time to press flowers.

Then, the lid 11 is closed and the U-shaped metal fitting 14 and the locking tool 15 are engaged. As mentioned above, the perforated plate 1
2. The insulation board 13A and the felt 13B protrude from the lid 11 and fit into the opening 16 of the container 1 with the lid 11 closed. The soft polyurethane foam sheets 61, 62, 6 are pressed by the lid 11 through the insulation board 13A and the felt 13B.
3 is pinched between the lid 1 and the bottom top surface of the container 1. In this way, uniform pressing force and heating are applied to the flowers 71 and 72 to create pressed flowers.
The moisture in the flowers 71, 72 is absorbed from the paper 81, 82 through the soft polyurethane foam sheets 61, 62, 63 into the water absorption layer 13 of the lid 11. Water absorption layer 1
The moisture absorbed by the holes 12A of the perforated plate 12
It is released to the outside world through. Therefore, water absorption layer 1
In case 3, it is difficult to reach a saturated state even if pressing flowers is repeated several times.

In this way, pressed flowers are made using the flower press of the present invention, but the traditional handmade method of sandwiching newspapers and using books, etc. as weights took one week in the summer and 20 days in the winter. is created in about 24 hours with this invention. If the lid 11 of the container 1 is left open after pressing flowers, the water-absorbing layer 13 will dry more quickly and completely.

Further, in the above embodiment, the perforated plate 12, the insulation board 13A, and the felt 13B were made to protrude from the lower surface of the lid 11 as means for pressing the breathable cushion layer. may be made to protrude from the upper edge of the container 1 as shown in FIG. Furthermore, the lid 11
The opening 11A may not necessarily be provided, and the perforated plate 12 is not essential. However, in this case, as described above, it is essential to keep the lid 11 open after pressing the flowers in order to dry the water-absorbing layer that has absorbed water during the pressing process.
