Conventional technology and problems Conventionally, problems with jumper wires include that the jumper wires inserted into holes in the printed circuit board may come off by the end of the dip process, float up from the board, or protrude excessively from the pattern surface. It is known that

That is, as shown in FIG. 1, for example, the jumper wire is inserted into two holes 2 drilled in the substrate 1 until the body 3b of the jumper wire comes into contact with the substrate.
is inserted from one side of the board 1, the leg part 3a protruding from the opposite side of the board 1 is cut to a predetermined length, and the leg part 3a and the land part of the board 1 are connected by soldering. This is used when short-circuiting two points on a pattern provided on the substrate 1. However, conventional jumper wires have a body portion having dimensions approximately equal to the pitch of the hole in the board into which it is inserted, and two leg portions extending perpendicularly from this end portion, and have an approximately U-shaped outer shape. Moreover, the hole 2 of the board 1 is made larger than the leg part 3a to facilitate manual insertion of the leg part 3a.
The jumper wire inserted into the hole provided in the printed circuit board may fall out due to vertical vibration before the dip process is completed, or for example, as shown in Figure 2a, the body 3b of the jumper wire may rise due to the buoyancy of the solder during dip. As a result, when the leg part 3a is cut at the position shown by the straight line l, the length of the leg part 3a becomes irregular as shown in FIG. This would cause inconveniences such as being exposed.

Purpose of the invention The present invention has been developed to improve these conventional drawbacks.The purpose of this invention is to prevent jumper wires inserted into a printed circuit board from falling out or rising up by the end of the dip, or extremely protruding from the board surface. The purpose is to prevent this from happening and keep it in a stable state.

Structure of the invention The gist of the invention consists of a trunk and two legs extending from the ends of the trunk, and the trunk has a pitch approximately equal to the pitch of the hole in the board into which the legs are inserted. Each leg has a dimension that is equal to or slightly longer than the board thickness of the board to be inserted, and a first leg extending substantially straight from the body at an obtuse angle with the body. and a second portion extending from the first end substantially perpendicular to the body. Therefore, when the leg part is fully inserted into the hole in the board, the first parts are pushed inwardly against each other on the inner surface of the hole in the board, and the jumper wire is held in that position by the elasticity of the jumper wire. This prevents the jumper wire inserted into the printed circuit board from falling out or rising up by the end of the dip, and prevents it from being soldered in a state where it protrudes too far from the surface of the circuit board. It is something that can be done.

Embodiment of the invention FIG. 3 is a plan view of an embodiment of the invention. The jumper wire of this embodiment consists of a body portion 10 and leg portions 11. The body portion 10 is approximately straight, and its length P is approximately equal to the pitch of the hole in the board into which it is inserted, and is usually about 9 mm to 20 mm. The two legs 11 are
Each includes a first portion 11a and a second portion 11b. The first portion 11a has a dimension L that is equal to or slightly longer than the thickness of the board to be inserted, and extends almost straight from the end of the body 10 at an obtuse angle with the body 10. The second portion 11b includes the body portion 1
The distance P' between the ends of the second part 11b is about P+2 mm. In other words, the angle between the body portion 10 and the first portion 11a is set to such an extent that this degree of dimensional difference occurs. Incidentally, the body portion 10 and the leg portions 11 are manufactured by bending a single wire material, for example, a tinned annealed copper wire, into a shape as shown in the figure.

Effects of the Invention As explained above, the jumper wire of the present invention consists of a trunk and two legs extending from the ends of the trunk, and the trunk has holes in the substrate into which the legs are inserted. Each leg has a dimension that is approximately equal to the pitch of the board, and each of the legs has a dimension that is equal to or slightly longer than the thickness of the board to be inserted, and is approximately straight from the body while forming an obtuse angle with the body. a first portion extending to;
a body portion and a second portion extending from the first end portion at a substantially right angle, and when the leg portion is fully inserted into the hole in the substrate, the first portion is on the inner surface of the hole in the substrate. They will be pushed inward toward each other, and the jumper wires will be held in that position due to their elasticity. Therefore, the jumper wire inserted into the printed circuit board will not fall off or come up by the end of the dip, and it can also be prevented from being soldered in a state where it is extremely protruding from the surface of the circuit board. It is something. In addition, when the leg is fully inserted, you will feel a slight shock, so when inserting the jumper wire by hand, you can confirm that the jumper wire has been inserted completely by the shock, improving work efficiency. There are also effects that can be used. Furthermore, as another measure to hold the jumper wire, it may be possible to make the hole in the board equal to the diameter of the jumper wire, but this would make it extremely difficult to manually insert the jumper wire, and it would be difficult to vent gas during soldering. However, in the present invention, the holes in the substrate can be made slightly larger as in the conventional case, so such inconvenience does not occur.
