Height from the floor to the ceiling of a railway vehicle (ceiling height)
The height is determined to be the height of the person plus the height so as not to put pressure on the head. The shape of the ceiling is also a flat ceiling,
There are various types such as vaulted ceilings and central ducted ceilings.
By the way, in railway cars used for subways etc.
Due to the limited cross-sectional space of the tunnel, it is required to make it as compact as possible. This goes against the grain of improving passenger comfort, so it is required to make the whole vehicle more compact and to make the interior space as wide as possible.

In order to make the overall cross-sectional dimensions more compact, railway cars equipped with roof-mounted current collectors had the problem of not being able to provide sufficient ceiling height in the cabin.
The present invention solves this problem. That is, in the present invention, the car end side roof has a low roof shape with the eaves of both shoulders and a part of the roof left, and the central part of the roof is recessed, and a current collector is installed on this low roof part. The above objective is achieved by arranging air conditioning ducts running the entire length of the vehicle in both eaves.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
Figure 1 shows the overall structure of the car body of a small subway car with a small cross section, Figure 2 is a cross section of the area around the low ceiling where the current collector is installed, and Figure 3 is a cross section of the car body around the high ceiling area with a general roof equipped with a ventilation system. A cross-sectional view is shown. 1 is the vehicle body;
This is an example of a vehicle body with a driver's cab in which a current collector 5 is installed on the roof. 2 is underfloor equipment, and 3 is a trolley.
Reference numeral 4 denotes an air conditioner, and since the cross-sectional size of the vehicle is small, this example is arranged on the indoor gable side. 5
The current collector is of the pantograph type and is installed on the roof near the center of rotation of the low truck, but its installation was done by cutting a hole in the roof as shown in Figure 2. Installed on the low roof. 7 is a general roof with a round shape, and a required number of ventilation devices 10 are attached. Reference numeral 11 denotes an aerator, which is a horizontal fan that uses an electric motor to drive a Sirotskov fan with a small diameter and long blades. Reference numeral 12 denotes an air conditioning duct, which is provided at the same cross-sectional location over the entire length of the vehicle, has an interval of W dimension in the width direction, and is connected to the air conditioner 4 via a rising duct. 1
8 is a discharge port for cooling and heating air. Further, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, they are arranged on the left and right sides of the low ceiling section. The ceiling surface of the vehicle includes a low ceiling 9 and 8 below the current collector 5.
However, the ceiling below the current collector 5 and up to the end of the car has a flat ceiling with only the h dimension. The ceiling of the general roof section has an H dimension with a low ceiling below the air conditioning duct 12 near the eave sill and a high ceiling 8 below the ventilation system.
This shape is an inverted concave shape. Reference numeral 13 indicates a tunnel cross section with a small diameter, and the side structure of the vehicle body 14 has a shape that follows the tunnel cross section. Reference numeral 17 indicates the eave girder at the contact point between the roof and the side structure. 15 is a lighting device;
6 is a grill provided on the lower surface of the ventilator 11, and is provided on a high ceiling.

To explain the functional aspect of the compact subway car body with the above configuration, the cross section of the tunnel using the shield method is reduced from, for example, the conventional tunnel diameter of 5.8 m to approximately 3.8 m, and the underfloor dimensions, interior height dimensions, The vehicle dimensions are such that the height above the roof is reduced. Therefore, it is difficult to mount an air conditioner on the roof, and the height at which the current collector is mounted requires that it be recessed into the vehicle body. If the cabin height is lower than that of a regular car with this specification, it will create a feeling of pressure on the passengers, so the central part of the interior light surface has an inverted concave shape with a high ceiling approximately 2.2 meters high. The ceiling is approximately 1.9 meters high, and air conditioning ducts, door closing devices, etc. are built into this low ceiling. In addition, although there is a flat ceiling of about 1.9 m below the current collector 5, there is an air conditioning duct 1 similar to the above on the roof other than where the current collector 5 is embedded.
2. A door closing machine will be installed. Next, in order to provide fresh air to the passengers, a ventilation system 10 is required as an air vent between the indoor air and the outside air, but ventilation can be achieved by having a structure that sucks fresh air into the ventilator 11 side. By installing these ventilators inside the ventilation system and inside the high ceiling as shown in FIG. 3, they can be placed in a suitable location for improving livability without protruding from the high ceiling. Note that the present invention is not limited to small subway vehicles, but can be applied to small vehicles with a low center of gravity, such as linear motor cars and urban monorail vehicles. For example, the current collector section may be replaced with an air conditioner.

According to the present invention, even if the vehicle has a low height,
A highly effective air-conditioning duct can be installed on the ceiling inside the cabin, and even if it is located under the current collector or on the general roof, it has the effect of providing a ceiling height that does not feel oppressive.
