[Detailed explanation of the invention] Currently, crucible-type glass melting electric furnaces are used as stand-alone furnaces, but the amount of wasted heat during electric heating is dissipated from the furnace wall, heat is stored in bricks, crucibles, etc., and heat is radiated from the crucible opening. , power transmission loss, etc. However, in the case of glass melting, the furnace temperature does not drop significantly, so the heat accumulation in bricks, crucibles, etc. can be ignored, so the radiation from the furnace wall accounts for the proportion of wasted heat. growing. Therefore, if the side wall or rear wall of each electric furnace is shared, and the amount of heat dissipated from that part is reduced to zero, a large amount of thermal energy can be saved. As the amount of heat dissipated is reduced, the electric capacity of the furnace can be small, and electric heating The equipment and power supply equipment are also smaller, and the contract power for the electric furnace is also reduced. Furthermore, since the walls are shared, fewer furnace materials and hardware are used, which reduces the manufacturing cost of the furnace. As described above, the multiple crucible type glass melting electric furnace has extremely high thermoeconomic efficiency and is a device that can keep the equipment cost of the entire electric furnace low.

The structure of the glass melting furnace for ceiling opening/closing type cat pot which was filed by the applicant in October 1983 in Utility Application No. 161258 will be explained based on the drawing as an example of the present invention. A frame 1 of a long and narrow rectangular parallelepiped with openings at the top and the front part is manufactured,
A hearth and a hearth wall are made of bricks 2, and a partition wall 11 is provided so as to form a plurality of rooms, and a concave opening is provided at the center of the upper front of each room so that the crucible mouth can come out. Multiple electric heaters 8 on both sides of each room
is installed, a drain hole 4 is made, a crucible stand 3 is constructed, and an electric furnace F is constructed. A ceiling frame body 5 is made of a steel plate, a hook 6 is attached to its lower surface, and a ceiling part is constructed of fireproof cement 10 to constitute an independent ceiling H for each room. First, place the ceiling H in a different place, place the crucible 7 on the crucible stand 3 so that the crucible mouth comes out to the opening of the electric furnace F, and place the ceiling H in the electric furnace F.
, and fill the gap around the crucible mouth with mortar 9. Although not shown, thermocouples are installed in each room to control the temperature.

In the multi-crucible glass melting electric furnace configured as described above, each room is independent, so the temperature can be set individually, and crucibles can be replaced by lowering the temperature of the room and removing the ceiling H. Therefore, it is safe, it is convenient because unnecessary rooms can be left unused, and it has a high heat rate and is inexpensive to manufacture.
